A lovely place to relax and refresh on the Freedom Walk. Cocktail specials and a shared Popcorn Shrimp provided the energy to tour more. Friendly service

Right across the bridge from the North End, Little Italy, on the corner where you turn to see the USS Constitution is this great tavern. Very hospitable, clean place with great bartenders and daily specials on beer and cocktails. I tried an Apricot Spritz which...More

This is a big, nicely presented bar and restaurant. Good selection of beers and food. We enjoyed our meal and the service was good. If you sit outside you are on a busy main road so inside better.

I enjoyed a delicious pint of mayflower ale , served at the correct temperature hoppy and bright in flavour. The clam chowder was delicious as was the Cesar salad. A great place to visit after seeing the USS Constitution. Highly recommended.

I came in for a pint, no food. The service was good and the beer was cold. The food looked good however I didn’t actually eat any.

This is a trendy, small neighborhood restaurant and bar right by the Charlestowne bridge. A quick walk from our hotel for lunch before leaving town. We both had Fish and Chips but Wow!! What a piece of fish! It was fresh caught haddock, lightly beer-battered...More

Had the chicken sandwich. A hefty, juicy portion which filled me up rather quickly. Fat fries were crunchy on the outside. Laid back ambience and friendly staff makes this pub even more enjoyable.

Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight
lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit.
Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge
from the North End or take the scenic water locks to
Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll
down cute Main street, wandering up the windy
residential streets to Monument Square, where you can
learn about the city’s history along with a great view
