Small but delicious. Probably the most delicious crab rangoon appetizers I ever ate! Definitely worth the trip

I went there with a friend for a quick dinner, early in the evening (around 6.00 pm). We could get a table immediately but the service rushed us out. One of the waitress brought us the bill before we even finished half of our plates. It was a very disappointing, even if I understand that they wanted to be able... More

Although it is a small tightly packed Chinatown Boston restaurant there are too many items on the large menu to taste with just two at the table. Try to have 4-5 people for better variety. (Actually the "not overly ostentatious" dining area is half as big as it looks at first glance with the help of the full wall mirror)... More

Huge portions, tasty food - we shared 2 dumplings, a beef and a rice dish between 2 and it was plenty. If you don't mind sitting elbow to elbow with strangers and are ok with below par manners, you'll enjoy it as we did.

Each time we went by The Gourmet Dumpling House there was a line waiting to get in. We decided to try it one day. There is an amazing number of dumplings and other items on the menu. we tried a variety of things, with mixed results. All the food was fresh and hot, yet some were disappointingly bland. Maybe next... More

They have a huge selection of food and it all looks great. We ordered Chicken fried rice, chicken noodles and baby beef ribs and it was all great. Located by the entrance to Chinatown.

Ordered leek and pork dumplings : watery and not very flavorful. Ginseng chicken soup with pork : bland yellow water with nothing but pork chunks, ginger and BONES. Service was ok. Not really clean. Not impressed at all.

It was worth the wait. This tiny place has people waiting outside to get a table, the system in place seemed efficient enough. We ordered to go and the food was really good.

Had dinner with friends. Once seated service was quick and efficient. All dishes came out hot and flavorful. Go early, otherwise the crowd around the door gets thick....a testament to it's popularity!

I used to frequent this restaurant a lot until I realized the delicious food couldn't justify the constant bad service. The last time we went the soup dumplings came out deflated with all the soup leaking out which we obviously had replaced and then they gave us the check before all of our food came out. It's not an isolated... More
