I am surprised at the lack of better reviews. I have eaten at Cancun since it opened and have never had a bad meal. I find the menu to be robust, with lots of variety and fresh vegetables. And it is the first Mexican Restaurant...that serves pineapple dishes. The proportions are more than sufficient and most nights we return home with enough for a solid lunch over the next few days. I was flummoxed by the one reviewer who claimed the meal came without rice and beans or a salad. Duh! You just have to review the menu to realize that some dishes are served without those items at a modest price for people who do not want to have them. The restaurant can not be responsible for people who do not know how to read a menu. We continue to order out from the restaurant during the coronavirus and hope it can stay in business until the epidemic is over.More
When will my husband and I learn? We each ordered a ten inch burrito and could only eat half. We could easily have split one and had plenty to eat. Like most Mexican restaurants, the menu is extensive. The salsa was great....it tasted homemade, not...out of a jar. I had a chicken and sausage burrito with a chipotle flavored tomato sauce. It was flavorful but not too spicy. My husband had the California burrito stuffed with shredded pork and a white sauce. The pork was tender and nicely seasoned. The service was attentive. We look forward to dining at Cancun in the near future.More
I ordered Burrito, enchilada and taco combination platter #11. All that it had was a meat mixture inside all 3 of them, with enchilada sauce over them sprinkled with cheese. There weren't any tomatoes lettuce, sour cream, refried beans, or rice. I've had better burritos...on the side of the road from truck businesses than this.
I've been in food service for over 30 yrs and never had something this disgusting.
I know the restaurant was packed and they must've run out of food but state that and don't serve only what's left.
First time visit and definitely the last time.
Very disappointed after reading all the good reviews.More
Large restaurant with great menu. Can handle large groups. Food, drinks and service was very good. Staff work to help and are efficient.
Plenty of area to park, sort of hard to locate first time as it sits off road in strip shopping area.
Hungry for Mexican cuisine? This place is a good option with the typical menu and at least on delightful surprise with the Arroz Cancun ( rice, grilled fresh veggies, grilled chicken, and just enough cheese sauce to pull it all together.
Visited this restaurant for lunch . We had a good server and food was good also .
Person working checkout counter was horrible,he busy talking to staff over something on TV , then playing with cash register ,keep asking for my credit card back felt...uncomfortable after 3rd time , not even a thank you for coming in or come back. Not sure i would visit anytime soon againMore
