Interesting and creative variations on Latin cuisine, with traditional cuisine also available. Fantastic Cuban sandwich and "sloppy Juan" sandwich of you are there for lunch. Fun, offbeat, and a great change from more traditional restaurants.

Let me start on a positive note... The water was good. Thank God that's over! The place was hot, muggy, & stuffy. The tables smelled horrible! Service was just as bad. Menu was so confusing and yes, I'm aware it's a "fusion" restaurant but this was just a bunch of bad food mixed in a plate. Just nasty! Let's talk... More

This is nice quaint place, but nothing fancy. The food is simply awesome. Fresh local ingredients coupled with a real flair for creating unique flavors. The potion sizes are very large so many people may want to split a dish. This is creative Latin not classic Mexican food. If you want great 'American" Mexican then go to Papa's & Beer... More

This place was GREAT. With so many awesome places to choose from in Asheville this is one that seems to fall through the cracks popularity wise. The food was better than expected, and we had high expectations. The online menu as of the day we went was not the current updated menu at the restaurant. there were a couple brunch... More

Our food tour sampled the coffee-marinated pork--it was wonderful! Will definitely go back next time I visit Asheville.

Last weekend at the suggestion of a friend myself and another friend decided to visit Chorizo. I am a resident of Asheville and have not been so I was anxious. We waited at the hostess stand for several minutes when a young lady appeared. She ask if she could help us, I said a table for 2 please. She looked... More

My girlfriend and I visited Chorizo after sampling their food during a food tour the day before. We stopped in for a late lunch so the restaurant was not very busy. We ordered the Sevilla Paella and the Cuba Ropa Vieja. Both were excellent dishes with a good balance of flavors. While the food was delicious, our visit was marred... More

Had a fabulous coffee-roasted pork with a surprisingly yummy plantain but the guacamole was the star. Very fresh and bright green. I was very sorry I was unable to get back for a full meal.

The food is incredible. I'm from Texas so I have the right to say that. Better than 90% of any restaurants I've ever eaten at.
