We were looking forward to fresh in house pasta. We ordered a sausage and bell pepper sauce. We got some kind of sauce that had zero sausage and was so spicy that we couldn't eat it. We picked our order up curb side and did...not discover that our food was not prepared correctly until we got back to our hotel.More

Great Food and costumer service. Call on a Satuday about 5:30 PM. Was tols only had table out side with a heater. Well it was great was not just a heater they have a tent that have windows they keep open for air to circulate,...they have a propane big heater that turn on and off and they provided great blanket. If you want good food, great service, and be safe, This is one of the places. ThanksMore

Chiesa is in walking distance and we'd been eager to return as it has been more than a year since we last ate there. The interior ambience is quite pleasant though, due to COVID, we elected to eat outside. There is a nice seating area...around the side just outside the kitchen. The menu is intriguing and the staff seems well trained. We tried the scallops with angel hair pasta and pesto as well as the scallops with angel hair pasta and greens. The scallops were GREAT - sweet and tender and perfectly braised. However, the pasta was way overcooked and sat in a lump that I cut with my fork. While better than any chain place I've ever been the food here did not match the price charged. Perhaps I should have complained at the time.More

The best italian food we've eaten. The scallops and polenta melted in your mouth and were the perfect meld of flavors. From the moment you walked in the door the service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and helpful with the menu and wine pairing...recommendations while also proving history of the building and it previously being a church. Looking forward to coming back again.More

We were celebrating our honeymoon in Asheville and the owner, Newton Clark, bent over backward to make our dinner an incredibly special night, Perfect from start to finish. the food is incredible, the ambiance is lovely, the staff is accommodating, I have nothing negative to...say, can't wait to dine here again. The ravioli is a must order... still dreaming about it. If you are lucky, you will also get Misty waiting on your table, she is fabulous.More

I would visit Asheville just to eat at Chiesa again! Fantastic meal, exceptional ingredients, great service. Best red gravy I have tasted in a very long time. Scallops were perfectly prepared. From beginning to end, a Wonderfully delicious meal.

Wow!!! We have drove by this place many times on our visits to Asheville and finally decided it was time to give it a try. All I can say is I’m sad we waited so long!! We had the meatballs (very tender and flavorful), Caesar...salad, Brussels sprouts (unique but divine), spinach ravioli, and bread pudding!!! Oh we also had fabulous cocktails. Our server, Reed, was top notch and very attentive and accommodating! 10/10 recommend and will be returning!More

Wow! Friends recommended Chiesa and boy are we glad that they did. We all had a fantastic meal. I ordered the home made pasta with the red sauce and Italian sausage. Also ordered broccolini on the side. Fantastic! My wife, daughter and future son-in-law all...enjoyed their meals as well. If you have the opportunity dine here!More

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Chiesa. The owner found us the perfect, COVID-safe table, and greeted us with complimentary champagne. The food was exceptional: fresh, homemade, and delicious. Service fantastic. Highly recommend!

Your best bet is to ask the restaurant directly. We ate there in early September, no need for heaters at that time.

Yes, their menu changes frequently, however, google “Chiesa restaurant Asheville menu” and it will come up. Hope you will like the menu!

Parking is on the street. Usually, there are several spots very close to the restaurant.
