Tired after a day of hiking we wanted a local restaurant close to hotel. What a pleasant find. The restaurant was busy at 6:30 but we were seated promptly in a comfortable booth. I was too tired to eat so settled on a bowl of chili (mild) and hubby ordered pork chops and mashed potatoes with a side salad. The... More

The food here is excellent. The prices are low. The service is good, and the restaurant is clean. What more do you want?

If your from Atlanta and like the Collanade you will like this place. Big portions, old style food and good selection of vegetables.

We wanted a better breakfast than the complimentary offering at the hotel. We've been to Cornerstone Restaurant twice, for breakfast both times; the experiences were consistent. The restaurant was busy with a 10-15 minute wait. The menu offered a wide array of choices including chicken tenders with eggs. Service was neither slow nor speedy and was certainly attentive and friendly.... More

I hate to provide a review of a restaurant that i did not eat in, but feel it is necessary to comment, if only to provide constructive criticism to the owners. I was visiting Asheville and staying near the restaurant. After a long day's drive, my wife and i just wanted to find somewhere close. We went based on the... More

Recommended by the front desk at our hotel. Since it was Father's Day, they had really nice specials. My husband had the catfish and said it was delicious. My friend and I had chicken and dressing and it was too -- good old home cooking. Service was quick and courteous, portions were large and prices were reasonable. Excellent menu choice... More

I can only speak of the breakfast as I've had it several times and I think it's in the top 3 of best breakfasts in Asheville. The last time I ate here was Saturday June 11, 2016. It's in an old Shoney's building which has been remodeled and I love the decor; dark, rich colors, lots of stone and greenery.... More

We ate here on our visit to the Biltmore estate. They have old school grandma size portions. All of the food was great. We ordered the lake trout, steak tips, flounder and cat fish. We all had more than enough food and went home to go boxes. I recommend going before 7 to be the rush. We would eat here... More
