While definitely a local hot spot, this place is a must for those who enjoy a quality sit down breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Breakfast is served all day, so you don't have to be an early riser. I personally recommend the "build your own burger" option for a customized burger experience. Be warned, the place is always busy. And for... More

We walked in expecting a typical diner experience...appearance is family-style older restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and quick. The food was so fresh and delicious with generous servings! The fried green tomatoes were hot, firm and lightly breaded allowing the taste to come through. My husband had the fried catfish and I had grilled mountain trout - both were delicious!... More

Our hotel recommended us go to this restaurant and we are glad they did. The food was great and the service was great. We could tell a lot of locals were in the restaurant and were enjoying it.

Home cooking at it's best. I will be going back again and again. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food and commented on it. Staff are real people they cut up and talk.

The best part of our experience was the waitstaff. Amanda was more than helpful but the food was subpar at best. We asked our hotel consigner for a good place to eat and he said to tell them that he recommended them. The staff said that happens a lot but they dont know who he is. haha

This restaurant is a great place for local flavors. We went for lunch on Sunday and hit the after-church crowd. It was quite busy. The food was delicious and the plates were generous. They don't scrimp on sugar for the sweet tea either! A great lunch option!

Homey place. Good to see successful independent diner around. Busy so service a tad slow. waited for ketchup while my plate got cold. Little girl at next table says, "Daddy, I don't like to eat here."

We were looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon this place by accident. The parking lot was packed so we decided that was a good sign. There were people from all walks of life. Some older, some in college, some families, some friends, etc. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals and several of the waitresses called customers... More

Tired after a day of hiking we wanted a local restaurant close to hotel. What a pleasant find. The restaurant was busy at 6:30 but we were seated promptly in a comfortable booth. I was too tired to eat so settled on a bowl of chili (mild) and hubby ordered pork chops and mashed potatoes with a side salad. The... More
