Table has a bistro feel; I say that it was a good family restaurant as well, but the food seems a little too imaginative to please kids who just want to shovel stuff in. We did pretty well, although my wife's shrimps and asparagus had the edge over my red flannel hash, which seemed a bit beetroot-heavy. Decent beer -... More

Being summer, it is extremely diffult for me to find items without nightshades like tomatoes and peppers at restaurants that specialize in locally sourced foods. The staff and chef took their time to prepare my entrees without these items. Food was exceptional.

We had a great meal at Table in Asheville. The severer was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to accommodate my daughter who is gluten free. The food was the best meal I've experienced in NC.

There bar is very high for restaurants in Asheville. This is a good restaurant that would like to be better. The service is friendly and attentive if not expert, and the food is quite good, but simply not at the level that go with the prices.

I found Table to be so-so. The service was so-so. My mixed drink was so-so. Just not really impressed, obviously. Interesting menu with an option of beer, wine, and mixed drinks.

Table is one of those restaurants that offers an ever-changing menu. Some people don't like this - which is why so many people prefer to eat at restaurants like Olive Garden and Cheesecake Factory. While you may not know what to expect from the menu with regards to offerings, you can always expect that the food will be fantastic. The... More

Unpretentious, small and inviting restaurant in downtown Asheville. Seasonal and daily changing menu. Basically American menu but very imaginative and focused on southern cuisine. We had the trout for two which was presented with head attached and was delicious!

Table's signage doesn't jump out at you and when you open the door it looks like you got into the place next door by mistake. Actually you are walking into the kitchen (which has a 4-seat observation bar) and you pass through it to get to the elegant somewhat Japanese--styled dining room you saw from the street. The menu consists... More

Stopped in for lunch one afternoon and the service was incredible (I think our server's name was Anya? She was so wonderful). I had the fried chicken and a glass of wine - it was delicious, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, and the staff really know their stuff.
