We had a bad experience at this restaurant. The service was bad, the food was bad & overall not impressed. It came highly recommended & we dine out often, but was not impressed. One of the worst dining experiences in 30 years :-(

Three girlfriends visited the table for dinner. We split several appetizers and really enjoyed the meal. Great charcuterie, the ruby red shrimp dish was excellent and we LOVED the Yukon vindaloo potatoes. The bread and olives were lovely as well. I was really impressed with their "house" red wine, very nice and one of the only reasonable glasses on their... More

I had the lamb shank. It was exquisite - fall off the bone tender, tasty and prepared with yummy sides. My wife had the marlin and it was cooked perfectly with a deliciously subtle sauce. Our server was attentive but not too frequently. Service had the perfect tempo, not too prompt and not too laggard. And try the bar upstairs... More

I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. While a little pricy it was worth the experience. Small and chic, I couldn't have been more comfortable. The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Both cooks on the line were classically trained and friendly enough to talk over the divider while they worked. The food was delicious. We began with the Devils... More

From the abundant locations in downtown Asheville we chose the Table for lunch. The food was intricate perfection! The staff were all "foodies" and very willing to help us navigate the 6-8 menu options in each category. This is a place where you experience your meal and as a bonus if you sit near the floor to ceiling windows you... More

After reading some reviews, we made an early reservation - which was smart. Because of the layout of this small space, it does get loud as the restaurant fills up. Our server was warm, professional and extremely knowledgeable of the menu and the area. We found the portions to be fantastically balanced and worth every penny. Is it wrong to... More

We were excited to try Table as it had been recommended and the menu sounded so clever and locally sourced. We found the server to be quite militant in her approach which was somewhat off-putting. We then found the food to be too fancy for its own good. Portions are very small, prices high. I had "Gaining Ground Beets" but... More

Had an 8:00 dinner reservation on Halloween. Started out with a couple of glasses of Sancerre. It took a while to get the wine. The place was busy and our server seemed over seated. We didn't like any of the entree portion offerings, so we ordered apps and small plates. Started out with half dozen oysters with mignonette. Oysters were... More

A fabulous eaterie that provides casual atmosphere, attentive wait staff, excellent bar and generous, well-prepared portions. From appetizers to entrees the customer comes first. Look forward to my next visit.

left this restaurant 5 minutes after we were seated because the noise was overwhelming. It would not have been a pleasant dining experience and communication would have been limited to yelling to my partner across the table.
