Were in Asheville for the weekend and choose here based on TA reviews. Luckily we arrived about 15 minutes before a big rush came through and filled the place up. One had a pizza and everyone else had pasta dishes - we shared a family sized salad. Excellent service by Tina, food was fine - do wish bread came with the pasta dishes though, didn't see if offered on the menu except for a cheese bread app.

Today was our first time at this restaurant despite the fact that we have been living in the area for about 8 years already. Wish we had tried it sooner! The Italian salad that I got with my sandwich was wonderful, with just the right amount of dressing as well as a delicious variety of vegetables, and the Portobello mushroom sandwich was great! We also had the seasoned fries as an appetizer, which were also very delicious and a generous portion, too; definitely enough for two people. Kyle, our server, was very attentive and kept up with our water needs, taking the used plates, etc. Oh, I almost forgot that we also got a simple, small, cheese pizza to try. We are quite choosy about our pizzas, knowing what a NY pizza really tastes like : - ), and this, too, was very good! Just the crust could be a bit chewier, but the top of the pizza was that flavor that a pizza should have.
We sat on the patio on a beautiful summer evening with a slight breeze, and the whole experience, from beginning to end, was wonderful. We will most certainly be back!

Piazza’s is now open for patio dining for lunch. We had the calamari appetizer, eggplant parmigiana, and Hawaii 50 pizza. The food was amazing and the service spectacular. The staff is very aware of covid19 protocols and extremely accommodating.

Been stopping by Piazza since Rezaz opened it. End of May 2021 stopped by for pizza, beer, and salad. First off, no flavor black canned olives had been substituted for the normal Kalamata olives on the salad and pizza. Mushrooms on the pizza seemed to be canned mushrooms. The greek salad lacked the normal amount of feta cheese (usually loaded). The pizza menu seemed to be changed from last visit in October 2020. Just not up to what we expected. Looks to be cutting corners on quality.

We used to live near Piazza and ate there often. Then, we moved and it "fell off our radar." Looking for a restaurant offering covered patio seating at lunch, my husband and I just returned after an absence of a few years. Everything was just as good as we remembered! I had the Greek Wedding pizza and my husband the eggplant parm., both were crave-worthy. In fact, I met friends for lunch at Piazza a week later just so I could have the Greek Wedding again. Piazza's wood-fired pizzas may be the best in the area, worth the 10 minute drive from downtown Asheville. Consistently good food, friendly and prompt service, easy parking, and a nice atmosphere. So glad Piazza's back on our list of go-to spots for lunch and dinner!

Eggplant parmesan was inedible. Eggplant should be breaded and fried then cheese added. Garlic bread has a known look at taste. It would make sense to order Italian or French bread for it. Pasta Primavera was fine. Service was ok

We had a delicious dinner last night at Piazza. Two of us had the lasagna and two had pizza. My pizza was a little strange - The Forrest Gump pizza. I like trying new dishes and this one was definitely different. The menu said caramized onions but they were not - just cooked some. The shrimp were not sautéed but would have been better if they were.
The cheese sticks appetizer was yummy.
Our young waitstaff lady was excellent.
We will go back if we have time on this trip. I won't order the Gump pizza but will make another selection.

In 43 years I’ve worked in dozens of restaurants, owned several, eaten in hundreds.
Piazza is clearly owned by a seasoned restaurant professional. Ambiance, service, food, all top notch. We five enjoyed pizza, sandwiches, salads, cannoli.
Not hip, not trendy, just excellent.

We picked up takeaway after driving in. Godfather pizza is so good- fresh, crispy yet chewy. Amazing. The Greek salad is large, fresh, and the dressing is very good. They happened to have peanut butter pie (cheesecake). It was incredible. Not in Asheville proper so not busy on a summer Tuesday night.

Ordered the Italian Salad, Cheesy BreadSticks, and the Italian Job pizza. Great meat for 2 people. The breadsticks and pizza had wonderful flavor. Service was great, Michael stopped by several times to ensure our comfort level. Give this place a try, well worth the very short drive.

This is a hidden gem. We got a late start for dinner and options were limited. Found this spot nearby our VRBO and it exceeded expectations. Chicken Piccata and Lasagna were both very good. Great atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and order a few of “Dave’s cookies” to take home. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Great environment. Friendly staff. Very high quality pizza - high quality toppings, very good crust. Overall a very good experience - I would definitely recommend visiting.

We came here for dinner while on vacation. I ordered the spaghetti with marinara sauce. LOVED the sauce.It was so good. My boyfriend ordered the wood fired pizza and it was amazing
The crust was the best. The server was super friendly. This will be our go to place for Italian while in the area. Highly recommend.
