The food I ordered (take out) today was awful. It purported to be a curry dish but, having cooked and consumed curry food for many decades, I couldn't detect anything that smacked of curry. It was kind of tasteless, but what taste there was was...unpleasant. The aftertaste was worse and a beer two hours later hasn't erased it. If you want to eat Chinese food in Asheville there are quite a few good options. This isn't one of them.More

Disappointed and angry! Been here before, left a overly kind review. My last visit 10/10/21 was my last visit period! Only got half my order after waiting an hour for take out. I was over charged even if I got my whole order. What food...I got was oily and burnt. Service was actually worse than the food! Gentle in front of me asked for soy sauce and she threw it at him! He was clearly offended but said nothing. In times like these I can't not believe she has guys to treat paying customers like! Lucky to be in business! I am so mad!More

Several of us had takeout last night for dinner. We had general Tsao’s chicken (not flavorful), fried rice (no egg bits, not seasoned enough), egg rolls (crisp but lacking enough filling), plain sticky rice, noodles, fried dumplings (good). No fortune cookies!

Best Chinese food in Asheville, family owned and operated, consistently good, sometimes a little too much oil, but still good, wish they still made spare ribs!

When you open the door you smell the aroma of old grease. Or what smells like old grease. It's not pleasant. I don't need to say more. Just no.

Typical American Chinese resturant with standard menu...nothing special. Locals get take out and no reason for tourists to eat here IMHO. Asheville could use a great Chinese resturant and until one arrives this so so place will have to do

This place has generally good take out. Good consistency and great prices. I really like their hot and sour soup. It’s one of those things that I always want when I’m feeling sick. The “Combination” platters come with white rice or fried rice and an...egg roll all for a great price. We like the moo goo gai pan and general tso chicken. The shrimp with garlic sauce is good too. If you like things really spicy, ask for extra spice.More

Ordered takeout dinner and was surprised at the quality from this mom&pop shop. We had Hot & Sour soup, Mu Shu pork, General Tso's chicken and Kung Pao chicken. All were well prepared and comparable to an upscale restaurant in Cupertino, Ca that is my...benchmark for good Chinese cuisine. Food was inexpensive and ready in 15 minutes from my order. I will definitely order takeout here again. Only complaint, soup wasn't hot enough but microwave fixed that. I hope they do well enough to stay open at this location as Chinese restaurants are not abundant in Asheville.More

I walked in to place an order to go. The very young teenagers taking orders were barely civil, no welcome, no smiles, and they acted like I was a bother to them. I placed my order and sat down. After 15 or 20 minutes. I...saw the young teenage girl put an order of take out in a brown paper bag and place it down on a table behind the counter. I checked the time and 25 minutes later, the girl asked me what did I order? I told her my order. She handed me the bag that had been sitting there for 25 minutes. The service is terrible. They have a total lack of care or concern for customers.More

We were hoping to have found a great place that would deliver to our home nearby. The food tasted old and not so good. Sorry.

I get food to go here a lot. Everything is always fresh and tastes really good. Good prices. Today I got two lunch specials, Hunan Beef with white rice and pork with mixed veggies on white rice. Also got 2 pork egg rolls . Total...was only $ 12.73. Dinner prices are not bad either $ 9.15 to $ 11.95 . I have been eating here since 2008, and it is always good. The employees are always nice, too. Good hours 11am to 1o pm . Sun opens at 11: 30, and lunch deal is from 10:30 to 3 pm. :) :)More

I love Chinese food but I have tried so many in Asheville that it seems all the same. Poor quality food and endless buffet garbage. The Asiana in south Asheville is OK but there should be a Chinese restaurant in every neighborhood. This one is...not a good one.More

If your calling for take out - the people on the phone are rude and will most likely hang up on you before your finished. When my food was delivered it was wrong and they said it was going to take an hour and half...to get the correct order out. Don't Do it!More

We stopped in on the advice of a friend - last time that I will be taking restaurant advice from her. I had the General Tso's Tofu - it was ok but I have had much better. My friend had the pu pu platter -...some of the items were burnt and others over cooked. The staff were inattentive and we had to yell to them for service. Poor service and Poor Food.More

Not very good. Cold sesame noodles come hot. This is the way they do them. They're called "cold" sesame noodles for a reason! Leave them in the fridge overnight and they're yummy. Similar to mediocre Chinese food offered anywhere. Sad, since Asheville food is usually...really the cream of the crop. If you really need to order in, it's ok just nothing special.More
