Ate at Doc Chey's tonight with my family (kids 6 &9) and we all loved it. The dumplings, spring rolls, and edamame were all perfect for the kiddos. My husband and I split a Spicy Thai Fried egg salad and loved the flavors and crispy fresh veg. We then shared the Spicy Korean Kim Chi soup which my husband described... More

We had lunch there today. I ordered the Japanese miso ginger spinach salad with trout. It was excellent. My wife had the bun ( rice vermicelli) and enjoyed hers also. Good cheap quick eats.

I have been eating there for years and I have never had a bad meal! Everything is cooked to perfection, great flavors, great service, big portions.....everything you can want in a local restaurant! We randomly chose Doc Chey's for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. For lunch, you decide what you'd like to have and then place your order at the counter. A server then brings you your meal. The food was awesome! There is wine, beer, and even sake available. Very quick service, too. I recommend!

Always a favorite in busy downtown Asheville, usually quick service and consistently good food. They are closed on Wednesdays, I believe, so don't plan to eat there without checking open days. Love their cabbage wraps and Pad Thai!!

Just a very good place for noodle and rice dishes that were very nicely seasoned, fresh and perfectly cooked, and served in a comfortable atmosphere by nice staff and at reasonable prices. I would have preferred some beer on tap rather than just in bottles, but there are dozens of places for that within very short walking distance. I would... More

My friend and I went here for lunch while I was visiting Asheville. The food was excellent and the staff was very prompt and friendly. I recommend the coconut Thai chicken soup and the bibimbap but I'm sure all their food is excellent!

Great little restaurant in downtown! Service and food have always been great. The Thai Coconut Red Curry is the best!! This is my favorite meal out of most places in town!

Doc Chey excels at ALL offered menu items! It's my go to Asian Fusion Restaurant. One dish is better than the next, one doesn't know what to order because everything is superb! If you like Asian Cuisine, you MUST visit Doc Chey's. You will not regret it!
