Food was wonderful! Service was great! Would go back and would recommend. We did have to wait but it was worth it. French Fries were fresh cut. Similar to Al's French fries at the State Fair.

ATE lunch at the Early Girl Eatery and we found the atmosphere invigorating. The service was excellent, the food was great and it is right in the middle of downtown with lots of shopping and sightseeing all about you. It is well worth a visit.

Pancakes were great---super expensive though. 4 of us came to $56. Service good. Difficult to find parking downtown.

Early Girl was a nice surprise! Great southern food! Recommend the meatloaf!! Also enjoyed the greens, okra, biscuits. Service was exceptional! Prices were fair. Fun downtown location. I would definitely go again.

This place was a little difficult to find, but if you like organic and true home cooking, you will like this place. We had a great server (can't remember his name but he was from New Mexico) and the food was yummy!

What a great restaurant! It was recommended by our Blue Heron rafting guide who advised us to get there at least 45 minutes early.... which we did. Even the waiting was fun, since all the folks were enthusiastic. The food was very creative and delicious...More

This is the kind of restaurant I want to find in any city I visit. Historic building with funky decor and an exuberant young wait staff. Breakfast all day. Take on eggs Benedict: baked grits muffin, spinach and poached eggs with roasted tomato sauce. Super...More

I haven't had a bad meal here but by far my favorite dish is the fried green tomato napoleon (a tower of fried green tomatoes, goat cheese and fresh basil atop a generous serving of grits drizzled with balsalmic vinegarette). My friend swears Early Girl...More

Based on recommendations we went to Early Girl Eatery on Sunday morning for what else, breakfast. We voted not to stay. No pancakes and scrambled eggs warrant an hour plus wait. Just not sure how early a girl must be to eat here but clearly...More

The food here is so amazing! We were planning on going to the soda foutain, but it is very commercial and they shut the grill down a hour early. I had the Tempe Ruben and my wife had the pan fried pork loin. Breakfast is...More

I believe so. For instance they use croutons made out of grits for their salads. I had a friend with Celiacs visit me here, and we found that it's pretty easy to find gluten free options in most restaraunts. There is a... More
