Delicious, fresh and authentic. The Vegetarian Platter was fabulous. A table of four and every plate was wiped clear when the warm pita.

The food is great, I had lamb chop with pita bread and hummus, it was tasty! But the restaurant is not neat, decor is a bit old and outdated, it can benefit greatly from a facelift :))

We happened upon this restaurant and were lucky enough to eat there while they had live entertainment. Both, I must say, were terrific. I purchased two cd's from the oud player and was a muse for the belly dancer. Their hours are currently limited due...to staff shortages, but is a must stop for Middle Eastern food.More

Delicious food and very friendly service. We ordered a number of tapas and shared - the falafel is some of the best we’ve ever had, and the bacon-wrapped dates special was memorable. Our server was very friendly and helpful. There’s no kids menu but lots...of kid-friendly options. Saturday evenings include live music and belly dancing too!More

We did the small plates lunch and got several. Really enjoyed getting to try many good things. The falafels were great!!! Our waiter took great care of us and was ultra efficient. The food was very authentic, too.

You don’t have to travel to the Middle East to enjoy authentic and good cuisine from the region. Incidentally the cuisine is common to Israeli Jews, Lebanese Christians, and Jordanian Muslims. Middle Eastern cuisine brings all together, although each group argues that theirs is the...best and most authentic. Whatever, Jerusalem Garden Cafe brings all together in peaceful coexistence. Delano was our outstanding server. He started his service by telling me a week ahead of time when to come for the easiest seating. Four of us shared fabulous hummus, baba ghanoush, felafel, stuffed vine leaves, fattoush salad, kafta Kebab, and lamb chops. Mezze is the Middle Eastern version of tapas, smallish plates of different dishes. That’s the way to enjoy sharing a meal with a variety of tastes. A delightful meal for a reasonable price.More

My friend and I went to Jerusalem Cafe for the first time today, and the food was SUPERB!!! Our server Daniele was friendly, very knowledgable and attentive, and this restaurant is now at the top of our list for places to regularly visit.

We ordered our food and waited an hour and a half only for our server to tell us the chef lost our ticket . Finally got the food after 2 hours of waiting and the order was wrong . I asked for my hummus that...was suppose to come with it and never got it. Asked 3 times and still never got it. Then the server offered us a free dessert and came back with bad news once again. They are sold out . The food was good but the service was so bad I’ll never return . Do not recommendMore

Since for some reason on Sunday most restaurants were closed and it was 6 pm no place had room without a reservation, the neon light over the Jerusalem Garden Cafe stating OPEN, was a welcome beacon. The manic waitstaff was welcoming and swept us to...a pillow filled seating that allowed us to sinking couch like comfort while sitting next to each other with a middle eastern table in front of us. The food was fresh and had a Mediterranean spice and favor which was a nice change. The grilled chicken and lamb dishes were delicious and the portions were large. There was blues music playing and the vibe was very comfortable. On the menu was beer and wine from the middle east. The prices very reasonable. Bottom line : if you want to try something different, with fresh healthy food and a change of pace with a good price tag- make this place your first destination !More

My husband and I went to the restaurant for dinner, we asked our waiter just to wipe our table as they did not clean after previous couple and he never did, we asked him to give us straws for our water and he never did....After waiting for 20 min he took our order then after 30 min he came back and told us he forgot to put our order in and asked for the order again. After another 30 min he came back and said the chef dropped my order and this was the last piece of lamp chunk? We walked in at 6:10 and we left at 7:30 not served. When I spoke to the manager he told me what do you want me to do, we have been working since early morning and mistakes happen. The only thing that was different about us is that we were wearing small crosses that the waiter kept looking at. Worse experience ever.More

Even if using a coupon, it is still customary to add tip the the total amount of bill before any discount.
