Had a wonderful lunch there. The food was good, and the service was excellent. As a starter you get biscuits and their own honey. So good. Worth the carbs.

We went on a Friday expecting a wait, but pleasantly surprised there was not one. We asked to sit on the covered porch in front. In spite of the hot day, we were in the shade and there was a little breeze. Good place to people watch. Complimentary hot biscuits were a nice touch. Beer was cold and the Appalachian... More

Biscuit is very dense and heavy for me. Two were brought with coffee. The Venerated Veggie Bowl was enough food for both of us. Salsa verde black-eyed peas, sauteed greens, fried okra served over stone ground goat cheese grits. OMG this is too good. The place is popular and it's obvious why. Great atmosphere. Will return.

We have eaten at Tupelo Honey locations all over the south. We had the blistered okra appetizer. Spicy and blistered to perfection. For entrees we had meatloaf with macaroni & cheese and Brussels sprouts. Brussels sprouts were the stand out here. Meatloaf was good (not as good as Mom's) and Mac & cheese was average. We also had the chili... More

We had a hour wait, but they will text when it is your time....so we walked around and shopped and enjoyed the nice cooler weather. Once we were texted, we were seated at a nice table in the back. Biscuits, honey and jelly were good. We both ordered sandwiches and they were tasty as well....iced tea is good. Enjoyed this... More

Tupelo serves up Southern with a fresh twist. Shrimp grits, fish tacos, pulled pork burgers, or brunch...you can't go wrong. Everything is delicious!

Who sat at the house it was busy. The bartender was very friendly and served us well. Others help him as well when it got too busy. The food was delicious all six of us agreed. It is in the middle of a very active area of downtown. There's lots to do and see around the restaurant.

After hearing a great deal of good about the Tuperlo Honey Cafe, my wife and I decided to eat dinner there. The wait for a table was very short as we were placed in the bar. Service from that point deteriorated as the bartender was also our server. The rolls and jelly were very good, however the rest of the... More

We decided on lunch at Tupelo Honey Cafe based on the reviews. Three adults & three children. We arrived early (before noon) & it was already busy. However, we were seated immediately & we had a good server. I was impressed with the children's menu. Perfect portions & a nice variety to choose from. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich... More

Description
Our Southern dishes and libations are served with a creative twist and a smile, and we serve our guests nothing that we wouldn't want on our own supper table. When we play with our food (and we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, and our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling and frying, canning and preserving, and utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.
