A good meal at the end of a long travel day. Friendly service and clean. The banana pudding was excellent.

The takeout experience was safely done, which I appreciated, and the food was delicious! I had a lunch special with the 1/2 pork sandwich, small salad, and tomato soup. Each element was nicely done, from the delicious bread used for the sandwich to the specially...seasoned soup. A top rate experience from beginning to end, and a "must visit" for anyone who loves good, southern food!More

Everything was good, but not great as I anticipated based on the ratings and reviews. The night we dined they were playing music so loud we could barely hear each other. I also thought the food was a bit overpriced. Service was also just ok....Nothing we had was exceptional but overall an ok dining experience.More

Ate two meals here, breakfast and dinner. For dinner, we tried: fried green tomatoes (good), the pulled pork grilled cheese (great) and the fried chicken (really good). For breakfast we tried: the sweet potato pancakes (awesome), the biscuits (awesome) and the chorizo omelet (awesome). The...side potatoes served with both meals were also really great. Both servers were super efficient and hospitable. Multiple locations.More

Good southern food. Have good meatloaf and butter biscuits. Not as pleasant of an atmosphere since COVID, but still good.

I’ve been here before and it was great, so I was really looking forward to my visit. The menu has changed a little, no more lump crab scrambled eggs. But the food is also slipping. My wife’s avocado toast had a hair in it. My...over easy eggs were solid not runny. Service is still great but with bad food who cares.More

This restaurant was recommended for us to try and we are glad we did . Yes, ,it is good ole' southern cooking, and it was very good. We have a friend who does not like mac-n-cheese, and loved the mac-n-cheese bites. There wasn't a bad...dish to be had. Recommend the mac-n-cheese bites and the smothered chickenMore

I don't know what the current health score is but the restaurant is amazing and the food is fantastic. My family has been in the food service business for most of my life and we love this restaurant.

I would say moderate to high. Pricing isn't outrageous, probably typical for the area based on other restaurants we visited while in Asheville. Food and service were quite excellent so we felt like we got our money's worth.
