We came here for dinner. We seated ourselves as instructed. No one came over to take our order. The server in the area didn't aknowledge us and would not make eye contact. We finally flagged someone down and shortly after, someone else came over and...took our order. We all had veggie burgers. There was a band playing and it was a fun atmosphere. I ate about half my food and saved the rest which my husband ate the next day. He liked it, but it had a funny taste to me.More

Really enjoyed this little tavern/ pub. The food was okay however, the ambience was great! The music was blue grass played by musicians who weaved in and out for different songs enjoying their craft while we all enjoyed their talent. Thank you!

We wanted to go to this pub for the jam sessions. The music didn't dissapoint. The food was great, I had the Brew House Salad and my husband had Shrimp and grits. They were both really tasty. The serving staff were lovely and the pub...had a good atmosphere. The place had an upbeat vibe and it clearly is popular with locals without that teritorial feel you get in some pubs. Being from the UK I sometimes find American pubs try too hard to attain the pub feel. They manage this without feeling fake. If I was a local I would be a regular!More

We stopped in before heading to the hotel for the night. There was a band playing so they had a $5 cover charge to get in. Had pretzel bites and a drink both very good. The band was good but the acoustics were not

I order mine for eat in. He didn’t communicate with the kitchen and they didn’t start hers until mine was delivered. My fish and chips were so crispy I had to shred the batter off and eat the fish out of it. I would have...sent it back but he never came back to assure everything was good so I worked through it. My wife got sick of waiting and went back to the room. I paid the tab and left 10% gratuity when I generally leave 30% or more. Based on all the other reviews sounds like we just caught the wrong bartender on the wrong day but I’ll say if you don’t want to be in the service industry then you should move along. Last night we went in for drinks and the female bartender was amazing so take it for what it’s worth. We won’t be back, not worth the 50/50 shot.More

GREAT MUSIC!! Food pretty good. Went today to Sunday weekly Blue Grass Brunch! Modest pricing on food and drink. Music is included. They are terrific. AND they can actually sing. Not infrequently Bluegrass musicians are fabulous instrumentalists who are delusional about their vocal abilities, and...pass that off as a “true traditional” sound. Not so at all with this group. Each had at least one piece with a solo, and everyone did a solid job of being pleasant to the ear. Some very nice picking by lead guitarist. As a local, I have found a new home!!More

It was a really cool laid back bar with a local kind of feel. They had a great selection of craft beers with many of them marked as being brewed in and around Asheville. They also have live music and we got to see a...group perform some traditional Irish music. It was a cool place and I’d go back here if I was a local.More

Stopped in for a quick dinner and stayed for trivia night. Much fun but beware of the “regular” teams. Heck who scores 29/30 right in trivia??? Unexpected good time anyway. Great music Thurs-sun. Philly cheesesteak was perfect.

Great bar, great staff, local feel with some added Irish music on a Sunday afternoon. Such a friendly place for both locals and out-of-towners.

We stopped in for a quick bite, and grabbed an open table. The waitress wasn’t around and the bartender was too busy having a conversation with people on the other side of the bar. The food that we had was very good. Shrimp and grits...was outstanding. Crab cakes were good, but you don’t get much.More
