First let me say that I have been to Tupelo downtown several times and enjoyed it every time. This is a branch restaurant. We went on Sunday for brunch so expected a wait. We waited about 20 minutes before we were seated in a very narrow booth...as in uncomfortable narrow...and we are not large people. It took another 10 minutes... More

Anytime we have visitors in Asheville, we are sure to take them to Tupelo Honey in S. Asheville. The venue is much bigger than the downtown location and the food and service is outstanding! Southern flare with a twist! A must while you're in town!

This was my second time eating at a Tupelo Honey Cafe, but my first time at this location. The service was excellent and the food was too! Some table favorites: County Fair Avocado & SC Pecan-Encrusted Goat Cheese. I selected the Tupelo Shrimp & Grits for my entree and thought they were delicious! Of course, I cannot forget to mention... More

Delightful, tasty lunch. We had beet and goat cheese salad and super southern breakfast bowl. Staff was very nice and provided excellent service.

We were very happy with our dinner. Had a small plate and shared St Louis ribs. Lots of food. Loved the ribs and fried okra. Will go back tomorrow and try something else.

We had hope to go to the original restaurant, but they didn't take reservations. When we pulled into the parking lot, we were a little nervous since the restaurant was surrounded by stores. But it was amazing. We tried the crispy Brussels, the friend green tomatoes and the shrimp tacos...YUM....we didn't know about the amazing biscuits and blueberry jam coming... More

At lunchtime you can also choose from the breakfast menu. The pancakes with sugared walnuts on top was terrific. Also, the poutine was excellent!

We love THC. They have the best biscuits in the area and southern fare galore. Their Eggs Betty (benedict) are divine. You gotta eat here.

What constitutes "New South Flavors?" For us, it is begins with reverence for those time-honored Southern dishes. Served up by wonderful home cooks for years. We respect the freshness, the flavors and the food itself. But we like to jazz it up a little, add something deliciously unexpected to delight your palate. Our interpretation of traditional Southern fare is creative, inventive and satisfyingly scrumptious. Cheers to New South Flavor!
