A great restaurant is about great food and this place has it covered. Your meal starts with one of their famous biscuits and compote. The rest is up to you. Their pulled pork is the best, however it is served. The small plates, new to the menu, are a great option to one of their larger entrees. We thoroughly enjoyed... More

We've eaten at other Tupelo Honey Cafes before, but this was the first time at the one on Hendersonville Hwy. This restaurant is much bigger than the one in downtown and easily accommodated our party of 7. The food was good as always, and our server, Monique Heckler, was very friendly and helpful with our questions and requests. If you... More

This was my second visit to a Tupelo Honey. We were seated in the covered outside area during a rainstorm, but we stayed comfortable and dry. We tried the sweet potato pancake and it was delicious.

For not having much eating experience, we stopped here for dinner. The waitress we had was so accommodating. She suggested some great things to eat and drink and was so friendly. The food was good, a little on the pricey side but not bad. Awesome dessert! Overall great choice for dinner!

So they were packed. My Eggs Betty was tasty and the potatoes were very crispy, but the server, while pleasant enough seemed to be overwhelmed. Long delays in getting a menu, then silverware. Several times we had to ask another server for coffee or other items that our server should have provided. Server was pretty much MIA during our visit.... More

I was fortunate enough to walk in at lunch time and get a table without a reservation. The food was great (southern fried chicken blt) service was outstanding. Wish we had this restaurant up north.

This restaurant is so much better compared to the one in Raleigh. Friendly waiter, more open and welcoming restaurant, more homey feeling, got refills without asking, and the cheesecake is HEAVENLY. I've been here twice, a year apart, and it's been consistent. I wish they could teach the folks at the Raleigh restaurant how to be nice and welcoming and... More

We're not considered regulars but we we're about 4 times a year customers...my wife and I. They change the menu from time to time so selections in our case never get stale. There's a couple of long time waitresses who actually remember us from when we first tried their food. We've never been disappointed! We like this place!

Food was excellent, service was even better. Our server, Jared, was one of the nicest we've come across. He gave us recommendations for the rest of our vacation, and was ever-attentive, but never overbearing. They start you with some killer biscuits, served with a blueberry compote and their tupelo honey. We had fried green tomatoes to start. Cooked to perfection... More

Stopped here while working in Asheville for a quick lunch. Omg I ordered shrimp tacos and they are to die for. Can't wait to have this again. Christina recommended an excellent Chardonnay, provided great service. Definitely ask for her if you go to this restaurant!

What constitutes "New South Flavors?" For us, it is begins with reverence for those time-honored Southern dishes. Served up by wonderful home cooks for years. We respect the freshness, the flavors and the food itself. But we like to jazz it up a little, add something deliciously unexpected to delight your palate. Our interpretation of traditional Southern fare is creative, inventive and satisfyingly scrumptious. Cheers to New South Flavor!
