Met friends for Sunday brunch. Another wonderful experience from waiter to food. The eggplant and picquillo peppers are great. We have enjoyed so many great dishes there.

Called 2 days in advance to make sure we had a secured spot. Best spot in the house is at the bar to watch all the dishes being prepared with meticulous attention. We had tomato bread with Manchego cheese, Assorted Olives, Christorra chips Jose's (chorizo wrapped in potato chips, and deep fried)! Dessert changed our lives: Espuma de Chocolate -... More

In Asheville for few days and this was highly recommended by friends. Couldn't get dinner reservation so went for lunch. It was awesome. Server very attentive and knowledgeable. Love the small plates to share. Had delicious Iberian ham with manchego cheese and bruschetta. Tried octopus which was very tasty. Also peppers with cheese. Would absolutely go back!!

Small plates of deliciousness. Sangria is full of fruit and lovely. Will definitely return. Make reservations in advance.

Gazpacho traditional chilled cucumber was just what needed on a hot fall day. Seating at bar was a show to see as chiefs busied feeding the masses. Ensalada deOntono salad of baby beets, Macon almonds, Spanish was wonderful. Market grouper with house made bread to soak up the broth was perfectly prepared. Spanish wheat beer married well with late lunch.... More

Visited Curate for a late lunch/early dinner. Were seated at the bar which is great - you can watch the large line staff prepare your food with great care. Our server gave me a great wine recommendation and the food was superb. It is a lively place so don't plan on quiet surroundings but it has great atmosphere. One of... More

Enjoyed this amazing Spanish tapas dinner for our anniversary. Seated us as soon as we arrived (even though we called and said we may be late!). Intimate, tastefully rustic decor. Ask for Jesse, our server, as he was right on spot! Mixed our sangria right at the table. We ordered 3 tapas and he timed the delivery of them perfectly!... More

Our first trip to Asheville and we picked Curate based on Trip Advisor and we are so glad we did! Eric our server recommended as first timers to allow him to surprise us and make our selections. From the great wine to the 12 tapas that four of us shared - it was all Awesome! We are still talking about... More

Curate is our favorite place to eat in Asheville, and this visit did not disappoint. Our waiter, Jesse, was attentive and helpful. The food, as always, was to die for. We have never had a dish we didn't like. Make sure you have the sangria made at your table and go from there.

I don't understand the appeal of this place. The tapas are so-so. If you've had tapas in Spain, these are a pale imitation. I was looking forward to a glass of sangria, but you can only get them by the pitcher (for $38). Really? We didn't make any demands on our waiter, but he didn't seem very helpful. A disappointment,... More
