Cúrate is a celebration of authentic Spanish cuisine. For those who have visited Spain, the Cúrate menu will bring back memories of the country's best jamón Ibérico, vermuterías, and lively tapas culture. In recognition of the restaurant’s all-Spanish wine list, Cúrate was listed as one of America’s 100 Best Wine Restaurants by Wine Enthusiast Magazine in 2018. Cúrate means ‘cure yourself’ in Spanish, reflecting the belief held by chef Katie Button and her family that there are curative effects in sharing good food and wine with family and friends. Experience the essence of Spain in downtown Asheville… one plate at a time.

We find ourselves eating here at least once every visit and try new spots. Sometimes we wonder why we even bother with other places because we generally get our best meal here. I would say some dishes are better different visits depending on who may...cooking it but overall even with inconsistency this is one of our favorite places. Try what you like!More

Undoubtedly known at the best food in Asheville. Chef Katie Button is known throughout the country as one of the best in Spanish cuisine. We visit every year but as the years go by, the farther in advance we have to make our reservations. (This...year 5 weeks!) This visit we had the flank steak, lamb, cheese and meat charcuterie, potatoes, croquettes...all amazing.More

Wonderful Spanish restaurant with both tapas and large plates. Booked far in advance due to popularity and COVID

I’ve been to curate many times. The food was excellent as always. The service was terrible and our server seemed like she was not knowledgeable about the menu and offered no help or suggestions on what we should have. She spoke so quietly that it...was impossible to hear and understand her. The food was not delivered in a way that made sense and there were no utensils to serve or divide the tapas! We had to ask multiple times for the different dishes we ordered and she kept asking if we were sure we didn’t have it. I don’t know if it was just a bad day but as much as I love the food it will make me think twice about bringing my family. We were not treated well and there were eight of us that had a significant tab.More

Great price for the quality of food. We ordered a sampling of dishes and each one was delicious. Our favorite was the goat cheese peppers, blood sausage, Pan Con Tomate and Croquetas. Everything we ordered was good.

I would probably give 4.5 stars if I could. Most authentic Spanish tapas restaurant you will find. In addition to the terrific selection of aged jamon, there is a wide variety of other food choices and a large list of Spanish wines. And once we...got inside, the service was great. However, along with lots of other people we had to wait outside with a hostess who was not very helpful. We were not given an accurate estimate of wait time but finally got seated 40 minutes after our reservation time. A little wait is always expected, but this was highly annoying and tainted an otherwise great dining experience. Not my favorite solution, but during these COVID times that have limited seating capacity, they need to consider restricting dining time to 90 minutes/table like many other restaurants are doing in order to get everyone seated in a timely manner.More

We had eaten here a couple years ago with some friends from CA and made every attempt to return. Even though are expectations were very high, Curate did not disappoint. We waded through much o their menu and enjoyed each dish tremendously. Reservations a must...as they have limited seating but it is a fantastic place to dine.More

What an amazing meal!! The customer service was exceptional! The food was excellent. Nice wine list. Charcuterie was wonderful -we got cheese with loin on the side. Loved the meatballs. Lamb skewers with stuffed peppers were amazing. We had the cheesecake for dessert and it...was to die for. If you are going to Asheville make a reservation!!More

Seated 15 minutes past our reservation time. Waiter didn’t arrive at our table for quite some time after being seated. We chose the chef selection. Most of the tapas served were very good, but not amazing. Based on the reviews and hype, I was expecting...amazing service and food. Overall it was a very good restaurant, but not deserving of all the hype. Sangria, Croquetas, Morcilla Casera and Tarta Liquida all were our favorites!More

We were thrilled to get reservations for this popular restaurant. Our server was amazing! He had great recommendations and was totally professional. We really enjoyed the white anchovies and the grilled red peppers with onions. The “Gambas” (shrimp) were delicious too. We ordered bread to...soak up all the flavors! The white beans (no sausage) were yummy as well. We were too full for dessert. Enjoy!More
