Enjoyed this amazing Spanish tapas dinner for our anniversary. Seated us as soon as we arrived (even though we called and said we may be late!). Intimate, tastefully rustic decor. Ask for Jesse, our server, as he was right on spot! Mixed our sangria right at the table. We ordered 3 tapas and he timed the delivery of them perfectly!... More

Our first trip to Asheville and we picked Curate based on Trip Advisor and we are so glad we did! Eric our server recommended as first timers to allow him to surprise us and make our selections. From the great wine to the 12 tapas that four of us shared - it was all Awesome! We are still talking about... More

Curate is our favorite place to eat in Asheville, and this visit did not disappoint. Our waiter, Jesse, was attentive and helpful. The food, as always, was to die for. We have never had a dish we didn't like. Make sure you have the sangria made at your table and go from there.

I don't understand the appeal of this place. The tapas are so-so. If you've had tapas in Spain, these are a pale imitation. I was looking forward to a glass of sangria, but you can only get them by the pitcher (for $38). Really? We didn't make any demands on our waiter, but he didn't seem very helpful. A disappointment,... More

We went early and got a seat at the bar. Food was phenomenal. The food is all prepared right behind the bar, so if you want a show sit at the bar! It was fascinating to watch all of them work . Food was resonably priced and the quality was fantastic. I would highly recommend them.

Skip the canned mushy white asparagus (house made mayo and vinaigrette were excellent though!) and dive into the cheese board, mushrooms, pork flank steak, and chorizo. Fabulous albarino as well!

So lucky to get a table! With the help of the great wait staff, my friends and I sampled several items, each better than the last. Exquisite flavors, presentation and variety to please every palate. If you can get a table, grab it!

I'm from Asheville, and we've been to Curate several times, including for our anniversary last night. It's very popular with tourists, so our server told us it was nice to see some locals for a change. It's a tapas place, and the food and presentation is really very good, which is why it's so popular. The service, at least in... More

Rated as the top restaurant in town and is busy throughout the day. This place serves great tapas with a whole range of dishes and is very authentic... You pay for it and it's not a cheap meal but well worth the price!

This place is simply amazing. So different than any food I've ever had. The menu was a little hard to navigate because I'm mostly unfamiliar and the lighting was dim but the knowledgeable wait staff more than made up for that. The food, all I can say is wow! It seemed as if the ingredients were simple but the chef... More
