My wife and I stopped here after a beer at a close by brewery. This pizza is so good. So they sell huge pizzas by the slice, which are huge or the whole thing and you will need some help to eat a whole pie, it’s huge. Ok we ordered a slice each and they put them back in the oven to get them nice and hot for ya, one of ours got a little too done and they inspect them before packing and since there was a bit of an over done spot the manager said it would be a little bit longer because the quality didn’t meet the standards they want to send out. That is awesome service, give your customers the best. The pizza was so good, the piece was probably bigger than my head or pretty close too it. Highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem - great pizza late at night and great service. Giant slices at a fairly reasonable price (compared to other Asheville restaurants) and great quality. I visit Asheville probably 3-4 times a year, and I’ll definitely be going back again.

Great Pizza!!! These slices are huge and tasty. We stumbled upon this place by accident and glad we did. There are 5 choices for pizza types, all by the slice or can be bought by the pie. A slice will fill you up. Staff was friendly too. Definitely recommend and would eat there again.

It looks good. It's a pretty good thin crust but it's missing the flavor. I wish they'd invest in some high quality ingredients like Italian tomatoes, fresh garlic and basil... and make their own sauce... It's very light on taste, the cheese and tomato sauce had almost no taste, and no way is there a good olive oil brushed on the dough.
I bet getting lots of toppings might make it better. I love a good NY style cheese pizza plain, it should be filled with flavor. My son got pepperoni and it wasn't special either.

Six of us had dinner inside the restaurant last night. There aren’t too many seats, because this is mostly a takeout and delivery pizza restaurant. It was fun watching the chefs make and cook pizzas in front of us. The pizzas are absolutely huge, and the prices reflect that! Crust was good, New York, thin, but the actual pizza was a little on the average size, taste wise. One of the problems is if you get individuals slices, you get slices that have been sitting and then warmed up.

Get ready for shock. The size and the price are insane. I just went to the one in Charlotte. Now the pizza is decent but the prices are ridiculous. Even though they’re gigantic. The place is clean and the staff is friendly enough. Try a slice before you order a whole pie. $7.99 for a slice but it’s basically the size of two slices. I think I’ll stick to better New York style pizza.

Late night pizza? This was exactly what I’ve been looking for. Big New York style pizza. First time I went, the slices were big and delicious. Pepperoni all over. Then I went again a week later, ordered two pepperoni slices, got home, opened the box and saw they put the wrong slices in. Ok, that’s fine. Went back a few weeks later, made sure to specifically ask for the Roni, got home and once again they PUT THE WRONG SLICES in my box. Now at this point, it’s part of the responsibility is on me for not checking the box. Fine. So this time I checked to make sure that they put the pepperoni slices in the box. They sure did! But look at the slice… there’s barely any pepperoni on it. I’m sorry, I really tried to support a local business, but they just keep failing…

Clean and sleek place. Good concept. The slices are large, and it’s NY style thin but an average bite. Sauce is unremarkable and outside edge dough way to large. Best eaten there. It’d give it 3.5 stars.
Be great to see them tap into fresh local ingredients.

I had actually been looking for a good pizza spot for awhile before our visit to asheville and found Pie.Za on instagram. We were a little shocked by the wait...but hey...people don't wait for bad pizza right?
My husband is from Brooklyn NY so his standards are very high when it comes to pizza. We were not disappointed. The pizza was really dang good. The slices are HUGE and the crust is on point.
I had the chicken parmageddon and my husband had a slice of pepperoni (keeping it simple). Both so yum!

Saw this place pop up and decided to swing in and grab a couple of slices to go. Being from the northeast, finding good pizza in Asheville has been quite the struggle. Look no further Asheville! This place gets it done! Hands down the best pizza here. Haven’t had pizza this good since NY. Great job pie.za and thank you for bringing us this new gem. We will be back, again and again. Delicious.

When they’re done visiting New Yorkers can go back home. But leave the Pizza.
I love this place. Clean. Friendly. Fast. Delicious. And there’s only one size: Enormous. It was a challenge just to get it home.

We finally got to check out Pie Za and it was very good. It is probably the closest thing Asheville has to a NY slice. The pie is huge so make sure you have room in your car. Also, the service is somewhat slow so plan accordingly.

We were looking for a quick bite after our bike tour and found Pie.Zaa. The slices are huge and great for sharing. The cookies were an extra special find...definitely worth grabbing one!

OK. First of all, THE BEST pizza in town; bar none, hands down.It’s real NY pizza. Slices are generous, and fair priced for the size. The only reason 4 stars instead of 5? My last visit, the guy behind the counter was in an absolutely miserable mood. He acted as if we were bothering him. I brought a friend with me and she had never been there before and was SO looking forward to the pizza. Even she remarked about his attitude. Keep him away from customers!!!

Bought a whole sausage pizza yesterday and boy, was it good. Had to be careful getting it thru the door from the garage for in the box it is about 30 inches wide. Had extra slices and brought them to work today. Every one was pleased with the excellent taste. The sausage was very tasty. Would purchase again.
