It's not fancy but oh my is it good. I ordered ribs with coleslaw and potato salad. Heavenly. The food also came with cornbread that was THE best cornbread I have ever eaten. If I lived there, I would go there every day - LOVED their food!

I'm surprised how highly ranked this place is in Asheville. Out of the two BBQ joints we visited on our North Carolina vacation, this one was definitely better, but still lacked the flavor and quality I was hoping for. I ordered the ribs (one of the last orders of the day,) corn bread, watermelon salad and mac n' cheese. The... More

Great little spot in a non assuming location. The food is excellent with a lot of tap beers available. Some of the best sides around.

We returned to Moe's because it was outstanding when we ate there last fall. The pulled portk (their specialty) was very dry and tasteless. The sauce, cole slaw and bbq beans were overly spicey. Location is small and parking can be difficult. It always seems very busy at least for lunch. You walk in front door, place your order at... More

We love Moe's!!! We gave up beef and pork, and I miss the ribs, though there is enough other yummy stuff to eat. Their chicken is fabulous. Juicy, tender, flavorful. I love the corn bread. The greens are the best I have ever had. My partner had the catfish and loved it. If you are doing desserts you have great... More

My sons and I ate at Moe's while killing some time in Asheville. My pulled pork was slightly-smoky and exactly how I like it. Ordered sides off the specials menu - squash casserole and beer braised cabbage - delicious. My boys had the ribs with mac and cheese and cleaned their plates. The main room was crowded so we sat... I want to give this place 5 stars but I have to review depending on the whole experience. The food was amazing! Really it was soooo good!! The pork chili... OMG! The customer service was great! But..... It was really dirty. It's time for a serious cleaning. SERIOUS! I carry hand sanitizing wipes in my bag and i used this... More

Stopped for a later lunch to avoid the lunch crowd, highlight of a fairly disappointing side trip to Asheville while visiting the Smoky Mountains. Members of our party had the smoked turkey and pork. Chose sides including: banana pudding, mud pie, mac/cheese, collard greens, green beans and sweet potato bisque. All sides were pretty good (smaller portions). Prices reasonable for... More

It's a neat little hole in the wall BBQ joint. If you're in the area, then stop. It look rough from the outside, but inside is nice. It's a little crowded, very popular but we got our food quickly. Nothing was wrong or anything with our order, I just don't see anything super special about it. There was no "wow... More
