I really wanted to enjoy this experience as there are few Indian food eateries in town. There were only a few diners at our early evening visit. The meal I chose was served on a small oval platter with potato cakes, garbanzo stew and chutneys in a pile, and whilst the overall flavour was pleasant it was impossible to discern... More

Recently order a lunch for an office meeting, so we had several dishes. My favorites were the Bombay Chili Cheese Fries (potato sticks and ground lamb), Matchstick Okra Fries, and Kathi Kabab Roll (chicken wrap). All were nicely seasoned and cooked. The strange thing was that each dish is similarly priced, but the "helping size" was vastly different. The okra... More

Walked in on a whim due to a poor experience elsewhere. Server was super nice and very helpful as we are not from the area. Food was delicious. Had a tequila cocktail that was also really delicious. I would definitely return.

My son and I were in town for a concert, and having read the reviews, decided to try this place. We decided to share, and ordered the Kathi Kabab Roll and Sloppy Jai (Kheema Pav) and an order of Bombay Chili Cheese Fries. We split the wrap and each had a slider (sloppy Jai). We shared the fries also. Everything... More

This place was recommended to us by a stranger from Cincinatti that we met in Washington DC. We drove 2 hours from Pigeon Forge, TN to eat here and we are so glad we did. The service, flavor, presentation, beer and decor are so thoughtful as satisfying. We are lucky that it's so far away. Otherwise, we would certainly gain... More

I loved everything. The restaurant is small, but not small, good enough to be intimate. One could while an evening away easily with a good friend here. i was with the fan, and we love Indian food. This was perfect. We loved every mouthful. We have a gluten free, lactose free eater and had no problem dining here. I am... More

We spent the Easter weekend in Asheville and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. After visiting the Biltmore and River Arts we headed downtown for the evening and were overwhelmed with the variety of restaurants from which to choose. We decided on Chai Pani and sat outside. Service was fast and friendly and the food.....we're still obsessing over it. We shared Samosa Chaat,... More

Best choice our table ordered: Bombay Chili Cheese Fries with the spiced lamb hash! Not too spicy at all, just right and so delicious. Loved the Mango Lassi and the Tiger cocktail, can't remember the full name, sorry! Our waiter was extremely helpful to us in placing our order, really went the extra mile. We'll go here every time we... More
