We were looking for a place to have a nice sit down meal at the end of a full day visiting Biltmore, and the Tavern was perfect. Lots of fun family photos (featuring Cedric, the Vanderbilts' beloved dog) line the walls. The menu had enough variety for all generations in our group. The food was good and the live music... More

We stayed on the Biltmore Estate at the Village Inn and ate at Cedric's Tavern twice. They offer a great selection of pub style foods including a great Fish and Chips or Reuben Sandwich, which I sampled. They also have a great selection of beers and ales; also sampled. There is patio seating, however this is popular and may require... More

We asked to be seated on the terrace since rain had kept us indoors to that point. Live music at just the right level was a plus. We enjoyed the Ploughman's Board and the vegetable soup and salad with a generous salmon addition. Very good service and food.

Make a reservation! This is a very busy restaurant because the prices are reasonable. We had a late lunch. Even though it was busy the service was great and food was outstanding. We purchased Cedric's pickles for gifts and for ourselves! If I remember correctly they were 11.00 each but worth every penny. We have never tasted any pickle quite... More

My brother and I enjoyed coffee and lunch here on a cold and rainy May Day. We actually sat outside under the heaters to avoid the air conditioning inside. Our server was a friendly young woman who was excellent. Our food came out quickly. I had the grilled ham and cheese with vegetable soup (both very good) and my brother... More

We had dinner at Cedric's after a day touring the estate and we expected your standard bar fare. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the diversity of the menu! Cedrics has a good selection of local craft brews, but they had run out of their own Pale Ale. If Biltmore wants to get into the... More

A great place for lunch after the Biltmore Tour! We were seated outside to enjoy the views. We had the Beer and Bacon Almonds - they were delicious. I had the spring vegetable salad. It was the best salad I have ever had. Such fresh ingredients. My husband had he Reuben and it was tasty also. We found out later... More

Our lunch at Cedric's was memorable. My husband had the bison burger which was perfectly cooked, generous & very tasty. My "grilled" cheese with ham was amazing, although it should be billed as a toasted ham with cheese. The sandwich was delicious & I'd recommend it without hesitation, but the description is a tad misleading. But don't let that stop... More

Food was from pub to gourmet. Staff attentive and made recommendations. Sandwiches large and served with homemade chips. Tried the Rubin which was great.

We had a delicious lunch here, with a FABULOUS server named Bryan! The drinks were excellent, and the food was divine! Highly recommend the pimiento cheese, the Reuben Sandwich AND the Smoked Paprika Deviled Eggs! Bryan was so helpful with recommendations, and he was so friendly, witty, and truly made our lunch extra delightful!
