I've got to tell you, Trip Advisor writers are missing something here in Asheville. I admit that I haven't eaten anywhere else yet, but Vinnie's has to be #1 because it has too much to be rated any lower. My wife and I walked in to a nice Italian greeting of "Hey!!!!" Talk about feeling special. We were greeted by... More

We recently relocated to Asheville and wanted to take a guest out for Italian food. This was our first visit to Vinnie’s, and we loved it so much that we joined their Goomba Club on the spot. James, our waiter, was friendly and offered many good suggestions for food and wine. In fact, he let us sample three different red... More

Like so many restaurants in Asheville, dogs are welcome in outdoor dining areas. Food was average. Mussels in appetizer were very small but tasted ok in white wine broth. Pasta Bolognese was somewhat bland. Calzones were huge-puffed up nicely. Understand tiramisu is great but didn't try it. Service was good. Outside was accessible to wheelchairs. May struggle with parking on... More

My fiance and I arrived about 20 minutes before close. We were worried we would be a bother but everyone was so kind and welcoming. Dalton, our server, was gracious and took great care of us. We mentioned that we had tasted an appetizer at the local farmers market and asked if we could order it. Dalton worked with the... More

Our family of 13 decided on this restaurant for an evening out while in Asheville. What a great experience and amazing Italian taste. I custom ordered the eggplant parmesan with vodka sauce penned pasta. My compliments to the chef! One of the best I've ever had.

Local restaurant and at 6:00 we had to wait over half an hour to get in. The place was packed inside and on the patio. Once we got seated, our service was prompt and efficient. Our waitress brought our drinks and bread with olive oil to enjoy while we waited for our dinners which arrived in less than 10 minutes.... More

Based on the reviews and my wife's love of Italian food, I decided to give Vinnie's a try. Service was very good and prices were reasonable. My wife had the Gnocchi and I had the Chicken Parm (compared to other Italian places, I thought the quality of the chicken was excellent)...that being said, i thought the sauce was ok and... More

On a recent visit to Asheville, we had the pleasure of dining, not once, but twice at Vinnie's Neighborhood Italian Restaurant. After all day meetings, my husband literally walked down the road from the nearby Omni Grove Park to Vinnies, the first night. Two nights later, we decided to try it again for dinner, so after a short wait for... More

What a great experience! My husband and I visited for the first time and were blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food. This is a great place for all ages ...and all ages were there this evening. Our server, Dalton, could not have been more attentive but other staff were bustling around as well, You... More
