Great food - I have been in search of a good Eggplant Parmesan for years after our favorite restaurant closed in Charleston. This place did it right. We had a group of five and could not have asked for better service. Had drinks at the bar (Martinis)and then were promptly seated. James, our waiter, was wonderful and very attentive. So... More

Vinnies has been the north Asheville pasta place for years. The go to place for pasta, pizza, and standard Italian fare. Nothing special; but dependable year in and year out for casual Italian dining. Although the food is fairly standard, the service and wine list is above average which makes a drink at the bar before dinner or a bottle... More

Had a great meal at Vinnies last night. Jess was a very knowledgeable waitress and Sinya the hostess made some wonderful menu suggestions. We are originally from New York and the Food compared favorably to Arthur Avenue and Little Italy. A must for Italian in Ashville.

Vinnie's is an awesome Italian restaurant that we visit each time we're in Asheville! Love it! The sauce is so delicious - you've gotta take a few jars home with you! Service is excellent! And don't miss the garlic knots!! They're to die for! Yum!

My wife and I have been coming to Asheville, NC for many years. Vinnie's is a wonderful Italian restaurant offering authentic Italian foods. The service is great and all at a value.

Excellant authentic Italian food. Only place outside of NY, NJ that I have found authentic ricotta cheesecake. Red gravy has great flavor. Great staff.

Owing to the very high noise level inside the restaurant, we opted for outside dining. Not long after we were seated, however, a deafening techno-beat started up. We asked for the volume to be turned down, and it was, but only a little bit; consequently, we actually welcomed the occasional emergency vehicle's siren, or a pack of passing motorcycles, to... We've been to Vinnie's 5-6 times. Sunday kids eat free and our 4 little ones love the large kids pizza. For a New Yorker the sauce is just okay. Best parm dish is the chicken. Very good service every time we've been. Sometimes long 30-40" waits so be ready. A call ahead process would help. Place is always busy with... More

A friend who owns a number of restaurants said that is one of the highest compliments a place can receive. His view is people return to a place for two main reasons: they like the product and they want to feel like they belong. Vinnie's wins on both counts. We have been going there almost from day one. Big groups,... More

Vinnie's has great American/Italian food with something for everyone, even the kids, and a full bar keeps the adults happy. Indoors can get a little noisy but has that old world feel. Outdoor seating is very comfortable and the street noise is not a problem.
