Indoors outdoors brewery (big open doors on both sides and outdoor seating - seat yourself and order at the bar.) Food was decent, but nothing over the top - average overall. Nice to try a 4-flight of the beers, wasn't wowed by any of them....Mommabeer was too piney. The oatmeal stout was okay but a bit bland. I had hopes for the holiday Hi-Dee-Ho, but it was lacking any punch of flavor. I liked Four Fat Baby (Belgian Quad). The burger was nice and the pickles I liked but my husband severely disliked - they were slightly kimchi in flavor. He said he patty melt was okay. I will say the service was really nice. Ordering at the bar the lady was positive, pleasant, professional and friendly. The guy who brought our food was fantastic - great service, nice personality, and a bit of humor. I'd bring a beer person here to try a flight or two, maybe nibble, and people watch thus the 4.More

Great beer, incredible bar food (excellent burgers, fries, and apps), and their public spaces are nice, clean, spaced out, and with a huge outdoor area with lots of picnic tables. Wednesday night is burger night yo! Get you some! PS: all employees are very pleasant...and they have a speedy kitchen too!More

We stopped by on a Monday for and outdoor lunch on our way home from a stay at the Biltmore. Their French farmhouse (saison) beer was soooo smooth and delicious! I ordered the regular cheeseburger with fries and a side of their special sauce. The...special sauce is pretty much thousand island dressing, FYI. I didn't know what it was until it came out. The sauce wasn't anything special, but it wasn't bad, either. The burger was wonderful- cooked perfectly, juicy and not overdone, just the right amount of additions (pickles, tomato, etc). The fries were great, too. Nice and crispy and perfectly seasoned with flaky salt. My husband and I sat outside - plenty of outside seating. The service was great- servers were friendly and it didn't take long for the food to arrive. Definitely stop here!More

Visiting from out of town, Hillman Beer was a short walk from our hotel, and a great place to catch up with friends. Very good food, brew and a relaxing atmosphere; it was worth the walk.

I frequent Hillman for lunch and a cider or ginger beer.... Not a beer drinker myself, but have heard great things! A great spot with outdoor seating, open air set up. Pet friendly. Sun shades for outdoors. Creekside seating

We found Hillman ESB offered on tap at our hotel. I like dark IPAs and this beer does it for me. We stopped by to get some to take home. They have these cool 32 oz cans that the fill and seal right out of...the tap. They were much handier to handle than big growler jugs. The staff there was great, helping us capture our treasure to savor at home!More

Fantastic beer selection, and everything our party of 6 tried, we loved. Friendly staff. Plenty of shady outdoor seating. Wifi. Don’t miss the to-go items in the big cooler before you leave.

Yes, parking is available in two small lots owned by the brewery (probably 30 - 40 cars total). It is well worth the trip out of the estate because their beers are pretty boring compared to those nearby. Also check out... More
