I've loved Thai food since it first came to Los Angeles back in the early 70s. This restaurant was, by far, the best yet! It was so fresh and you could tell it was prepared with love. The ambience was lovely in a small house,...and the service excellent. Their hot ginger tea was a treat, as was the Pad Thai with Shrimp. We brought visiting friends there and they loved it. We've been there 3 times now in three weeks and will continue to drive from Hendersonville to Asheville just to enjoy the food and ambience.More

What a great find this was. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. So many choices on the menu I had a hard time deciding. I opted for the veggie lover with chicken, my husband had a noodle dish . So glad we...stopped here. They are also very pet friendly.More

I searched for a Thai place close to my hotel, and this one popped up. Drove over there; it was rather late, but I found the place still busy. It didn't take long to give my takeout order, and the order taker apologized when he...told me it might take slightly longer to get my order. Food was worth waiting for the extra time. I got an order of Pad Thai, Thai Fried rice, and they even had one of my favorite desserts, Mango with sweet sticky rice. All of the dishes were perfectly seasoned. The portions were large enough for me to have leftovers for lunch the next day. Highly recommend it if you want great Thai food in Asheville, NC.More

Service was prompt. The food was fine, vegetarian friendly, nothing particularly distinctive for a Thai restaurant.

We used to love this place and came in frequently. However, the last time we ate here, the quality seems to have gone downhill. The Tom Kha soup was not edible- so bland and sweet. The chicken in that soup was tough and had a...bad taste as well. The chicken larb salad had so many strong onions, it had to be picked through before it could be eaten. I hope this place turns around soon, we would love to come back.More

I won't be back anytime soon. We ordered food at 5:45 for a 7:00 pick up. When I arrived at 7:00, I waited for awhile and then was finally told that it wouldn't be "awhile." I finally got my food at close to 7:30. At...least it was hot...? When I brought it home, the Tom Kha was delicious. No doubt. The spring rolls were incredibly greasy and overdone, almost burnt. The pineapple curry was good but the pad Thai was also very greasy and didn't have a lot of flavor. On top of it all, portions are smaller than at other local Thai places. Ultimately, I would eat it again but I certainly won't be seeking it out.More

We ordered the pad Thai (medium) lunch special and the cream cheese appetizer. It was delicious! The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed being able to sit outside. We will be back!

Family operated, home made dumpling, super fresh dishes. Will come back again and again. Staff friendly, knowledgeable-even when short staffed during covid.

Can I give it a negative? I had reluctantly tried this place again at my husband’s urging and I was very upset AGAIN! I ordered the cashew chicken, a favorite at other restaurants, with extra broccoli for a $2 upcharge and received literally two pieces...of broccoli. Deciding to eat after being disappointed in the broccoli, I then found a HAIR in my food!!!!! Stop right there! That’s a no go for me! I tossed it in the trash and I WILL NEVER BUY FOOD THERE AGAIN! My husband told me that the owner actually stuck her head out the door (Covid restrictions) to ask for a tip!?!?!! REALLY? Here’s a tip, people don’t like hair in their food! GROSS!More

Picked up takeout for lunch. With COVID-19 happening, we now eat all of our meals at home with the exception of picking up takeout once a week. Out of all the restaurants in Asheville, we chose Pad Thai for our once a week treat. We...got the Tom Yum soup, Chicken Larb, Fresh Spring Rolls, Crispy Chicken Pad Thai and Steamed Dumplings. ALL the dishes lacked serious flavor. The fresh spring rolls were mostly full of iceberg lettuce and the dipping sauce was not very good. I make these at home and these were very disappointing. Tom Yum soup is my favorite, but this lacked complexity with no flavor profile. Trader Joe’s makes way better steamed dumplings. Crispy chicken on Pad Thai did not taste fresh. It tasted like it was cooked the day before and heated up. The Pad Thai it's self had no flavor. Larb Chicken had no flavor. I did not taste any lime or fish sauce. Asked for chili sauce to go with our meal because I like spice. We did not get it. Thai iced tea was good, but I have had better. 80% of the cup was ice. The woman on the phone who took my order was very friendly and patient. We decided to try this place because it has been in business for over ten years with two locations. There is a new Thai restaurant in West Asheville I regret not ordering from instead. Disappointed we used up our one takeout meal for the week on this.More

This place is VERY hard to see. I think I passed it twice before I figured out where it was, plus my GPS originally sent me to a street behind it. You can only see it coming back toward the 191 highway. Since it was...my first visit here I ordered the standard Pad Thai as a basic benchmark. I'd rate the food above average but not really ravingly outstanding as some reviews have. Service was good, Thai tea tasted a bit watery, main course was good and nice and hot as I like it. I thought the prices were on the steep side considering the portion sizes especially for the Fresh Rolls which were little stubby things. The saving grace was that they have Sangkaya (they call it "Thai custard") which is my favourite dessert, when one can find it, which is rare. It's the perfect closing to a spicy Asian meal. So I enjoyed the lunch but probably would not go back as it was a bit off route and a bit pricey. If one of those were not the case I probably would.More
