Quite ,relaxed atmosphere. Good selection of food at reasonable prices. Food tastes great and portions were good. After a day of visiting some of the many breweries , it was a nice meal to end the day. Place was clean and staff was pleasant and attentive.Would definitely go back again.

We enjoy going to Kathmandu. It's quick and easy and always good. Vegetarians, vegans, and gluten free folks can find plenty to eat on the buffet, and the people who work there are unfailingly kind. The buffet is not fine dining--but it's good food at a good price.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful vegetarian dinner at Kathmandu. The food was fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed the interesting atmosphere and decor. Our waitress was helpful and attentive. All in all, an enjoyable evening. We plan to return the next time we're in Asheville.

lemon rice had no flavor of lemon...but tons of salt. Food was very boring and not well thought out or executed. Buffet small and unappealing.

Chai was wonderful. Garlic naan was good but I needed yogurt or chutney to eat it with. Plain bread is not my jam. My boyfriend God an amazing chicken dish that was cooked in a clay oven. It was so good and a great portion. I ordered the paneer with spinach and it was ok! It wasn't my favorite food... More

I swear this food comes with love attached ;) we had roti, rice, eggplant, and a lentil dish with chai tea. It was heaven. I knew nothing about this restaurant before we stumbled on it on a frigid night. I'd wanted to go to Chai Pani, but the wind convinced us to give it a try. Will now be a... More

I have always liked the buffet here but last night we had dinner and I ordered the appetizer sampler. Everything tasted too salty. Even the plain shredded cabbage. It was as if after the food was platted someone salted everything! The samosa was also terrible, some kind of ground up mush inside with a few peas and the shell was... More

Nepalese food. Went there before the theater. The food was very good, as was the service. It was a busy weekend but we didn't have to wait and we were able to be seated and have our meal and be in and out in under an hour. It is always interesting to try different food and this was so super... More

There were so many choices on the menu to choose from, but I finally decided on the trout. I had dinner there with my family to enjoy the diverse tastes and spices of the Tibet region. My daughter is a vegetarian and had some great choices as well. My fish was cooked to perfection, coming off the bone easily and... More

Love everything about this restaurant. Food, atmosphere, service. We found it by accident when we visited Asheville and we are so glad we did! It has a wonderful calming atmosphere reflecting Nepal. I ate the Tika Masala. yum.
