Had the Hawaiian breakfast sandwich and a sticky role. Both were very good. They had limited hot drink options with COVID. Outside sitting only.

20 minutes to get a bagel toasted, 15 minutes to get an Americano. Not even that busy. I understand it is Covid season, but this is in March. We have been at this thing for five months and their service was absolutely horrible.More
Hi, sorry to hear that your order took awhile to get to you. We are first come first serve establishment and sometimes we are not able to make items immediately depending on how busy it is. We encourage people to order ahead via our website...More
We stopped in here for a quick breakfast on our way to the parkway and both got bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches on plain bagels. They were fresh, hot and tasty although I felt like the bagel was hard and I was able to...easily bite it off. We didn’t feel like they were anything special. Very cute downtown shop in a great area with a super friendly staff!More
Good coffee and pastry. I love the Açaí berry tart and the quiche was delicious. They are handling the pandemic well with many ordering options.
City Bakery is,as the name suggests, a bakery with the option of either taking your goods to go, or having them inside. The service is very friendly and the sandwiches savory and rich. They will keep you going for at least until dinner and were...delicious indeed. Coffee and interior design could be improved, but overall a very plesant spot with outside sitting and a main street view.More
A great place to relax and enjoy the moment. The Spice Chai Latte and everything bagels were great. The pastrami rueben on sourdough was perfect
We went to City Bakery on the recommendation of our Air B&B hosts. The food was great! Our breakfast sandwiches were served on bread that was fresh and certainly baked on-site, and the ingredients were wonderful. We had a chocolate croissant on the side which...was terrific. The coffees, on the other hand, were just okay. We both ordered lattes, which were lackluster. Perhaps we are coffee snobs, but for how much is charged for espresso beverages, they should best just regular coffee. As a retail employee for over ten years, I tend to judge establishments by the attentiveness of their employees. At City Bakery, this was below average. The gentleman who took our order was unsmiling, brusque, and certainly not bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for first thing in the morning. Same goes for the cashier. The older lady who cleared our plates away, however, was outgoing and pleasant to us. I do think that City Bakery serves a good breakfast. I think it could be served with a touch more on the pleasantries, however.More
Staying across street at Aloft finally decided to come try this place. Glad we did. everyone was friendly, food was great, with good coffee options. place has a nice hip earthy vibe, not like the sterile atmosphere in other places. Wish we had tried it...sooner.More
Great bread ! We went every morning for breakfast and to buy bread. French baguette delicious and French batard. Good service . Busy place
Stopped in here early morning shortly after opening as we were staying across the street at the Aloft. I question how they would handle the busier times as it seemed to take a long time to toast and butter a couple of bagels. The scone...and streusel muffin were good. Not sure if it was just an early morning blip but on both my visits it just seemed long to get those done. The pastry's are tasty and maybe on a return visit we'll ensure we have more time to linger if ordering something that requires some work.More
