Dropped in for lunch, and delighted to have found a place for lunch where we can all eat in one place accommodating a vegan in the group. Great friendly and attentive staff in a busy cafe with fresh food.

Visited here after reading reviews. Very disappointed with the serving staff but food was good The lady making the coffee was very miserable and rude and not just to us ! All tables were dirty There is a lot of choice in this so I...wouldn’t bother to visit againMore
7 people working not one wiped clean table in the entire dining room. It is a self bussing establishment but once in a while wipe a table clean. There were 3 guests in the dining room. Just nasty bus area as well. If you do...self bussing seating at least make an effort. To go only. The food was good. The breads looked great, not much left at 12:00 so get here early.More
This is a great go-to spot for breakfast in Asheville - the prices are reasonable, the food is great, and so is the coffee! I will definitely be going back here again!
Busy little bakery /cafe with tables. Order at register with self pick up. Our sandwiches/soup/cookies were great! Everything was fresh and so very tasty. A wonderful breakfast/ lunch spot. We sat and talked without feeling rushed or needing to leave. Thank you so much!
Ordered a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on a Asiago cheese biscuit. It certainly did not disappoint! Great coffee, friendly staff. Also picked up a baguette for later that was very fresh and tasty. Looking forward to my next trip to Asheville to go again.
Very nice cafe/bakery in the South Slope We both enjoyed the veggie and the egg-sausage biscuits and fresh ground local coffee Worth a stop again
I love the breakfast biscuit sandwiches. The biscuits themselves are delicious and you can order them with various ingredients. My favorite is ham, egg and cheese.
This is a must if you are in Asheville. We ate here twice during our stay and should have went 3 for 3. I had the breakfast Torta and it’s awesome! My wife had the cheddar biscuit and felt It was like some south in...her mouth. The coffe was good as well. Don’t miss this place for a quick bite!More
The City Bakery was only a couple of blocks from our hotel (The Foundry) so an easy walk. Their croissants are out of this world--really fresh and flaky and exactly the way you would want a croissant to taste. Plus, you can get eggs and...cheese on biscuits or on their croissants at no extra charge, which we did. They are very accommodating and reasonably priced. AND they serve espresso-based coffee drinks as well. As the title says, this is a GREAT place for breakfast.More
My cousin and I tried the bakery for lunch and we both had a stuffed avocado chicken salad that was super yummy and extremely fresh. We also split a salted caramel brownie that was equally as good. The prices were very reasonable and we were...served very quickly. Definitely would recommend eating here.More
We found this bakery that offered fresh and quick breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Also offered a variety of coffee, latte, espresso choices. Off street parking alongside building was a plus at this busy downtown location. The only negative was the employee working the counter. She...asked us to repeat our order twice throughout the order process and we were given the wrong items. Very young staff. Seems they need a more mature manager on duty.More
The coffee was excellent and tasted as described! The breakfast sandwiches were huge! Share them - do not try to eat a whiole sandwich! Very tasty, though!
We arrived shortly before they stopped serving breakfast. So we got breakfast sandwiches and split the avocado salad. The bread used for sandwiches was crispy and so fresh. We’ll be back for the avocado salad before we leave - it was phenomenal!
I do breakfast here at least one morning of my stays in Ashville. The herb biscuits sandwiches are Delicious and the daily quiche is to die for. Thanks for a great bfast.
