Had a wonderful leisurely dinner. The tortellini commodoro (sp?) Was wonderful especially. They've done a great job with all the extra regulations that the state requires and you get to feel normal again while going out

Traveling through Gunnison & we were told about this restaurant just north of town with a lovely outdoor dining experience with absolutely fabulous food and warm friendly service. It was a great “find.”

Made a reservation and it took over an hour to get our order even taken. Extremely unorganized, even with covid issues, was awful. Very overpriced and just okay meal. I’m usually not this negative in reviews but ugh... go elsewhere.

The ambiance during the warm months is amazing, backs up to a stream, live music, cabanas to secure for larger groups...and nice servers. The challenge is the food. I’ve been there twice recently and was very disappointed both times. I had the vodka pasta the...first time and the shrimp scampi the second. I love garlic but the scampi stuck with me until the next day, which is just too much. You do need to call ahead to reserve the cabanas, but the live music area is first come, first serve so get there early and enjoy!More

Great meal and service. We go there whenever we are in town! They have set up a vast outdoor al fresco dining experience.

If you like Italian food this is very authentic and very good! We had a party of 3 and sat in the dining room We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Our appetizer came out even before the drinks did. We finished our cheese that we...ordered and then the drinks came. The entrees came out and at that time we ordered another round of drinks and they never made it to the table approx. 30 plus minutes later we told the waitress "Marie" just cancel the drinks and bring us a bill.... She then was not in a big hurry about that either as we watched her squat down and chat with I would guess some friends out on the deck area....She seemed very nonchalant about it and said well the bar has been a bit busy. When she brought our bill out she said "If you want those drinks Ill bring them and you can chug them before you leave" We declined and then left. The place was only seating at half capacity....I'd hate to see how slow things would have been if COVID-19 seating hadn't been in effect.More

The inside portion of Garlic Mike's was full when we arrived without a reservation. We were directed to the first come, first serve area on the bank of the Gunnison River . The setting was beautiful, peaceful, and there was lots of room to separate...tables and seating areas. Our servers (Erica was one of them) looked after us without delay. The Aperol Spritzes were perfect for a warm summer evening and the calamari, Sweet corn chowder, and prime rib were all perfect. We also enjoyed the live music in the peaceful setting. I strongly suggest Garlic Mike's as a place to dine whenever you visit Gunnison.More

Great Italian food! Considering how difficult operating a restaurant is during the pandemic they did an amazing job and the service was excellent. The gnocchi was excellent and the chicken Marsala was very good. The atmosphere was very inviting. I would certainly go there again...the next time we are in Gunnison.More
