Café from a bygone era...booths, knotty pine walls, friendly staff. Best French toast ever-thick slices of french bread, cream, cinnamon. Divine...... Loved our morning here

This was a locals diner and we loved it. On main street and we liked it so much we ate here twice though there were other good options. Reasonable prices and great diner menu. Breakfast served all day!

This place had the feel of where locals come to eat on a regular basis. Reliably consistant in serving large portions of really good food. Biscuits and gravy, southwestern omelettes or spinach & feta ones, great eggs Benedict... all good. Have only been here for breakfast, and want to try other meals.

Stopped here for brunch on our way out of Gunnison on July 4. There was a line of people waiting to get in (as expected) but the two parties who were on the list before us apparently bolted, so we were seated in about 5-10 minutes. The food portions were extremely generous and had that home-cooked feel. Service was super... More

We always enjoy our time at the W... but a word of caution, it's only open till 2 and can be crowded so be patient. Omelets are good, and their hash browns are excellent.

My daughter and her family made a visit to the W while on vacation and recommended to us to give it a try. Great recommendation. The wait staff were very good, pleasant and attentive. We had breakfast and it was really good. Normally I do not try biscuits and gravy outside the south, but I gave it a try. Great... More

This place is small and quaint. Has the best breakfast. Always go when we come to town. There is usually a bit of a wait but it is worth it!

Met a family member for breakfast on his recommendation. Conveniently located near the motel we were staying in. The waitresses were very charming, great personalities. The portions were absolutely HUGE! and great tasting.

Dropped in based on a local's recommendation -- W was his breakfast goto place. When in Gunnison, it's now ours. Promptly greeted, seated, then served drinks. Food followed quickly thereafter. Hash browns best I've had in a while, very crispy outside, soft and moist inside. One suggestion, if ordering and omelette, order a half size...unless your really hungry.
