There are only two full service cafes that serve breakfast in Gunnison. The W is a reasonable choice. Broad breakfast menu. Pretty good food. Tends to be a little pricey. The cafe is small and can not service more than four or so people in a party. It has new carpet and a fresh paint job so is more pleasing... More

Perfect country breakfast--hash browns or home fries, eggs, bacon & sausage. Biscuits and gravy are classic!

We stopped for a quick lunch on our way to Ouray, CO. It was a convenient stop, just off the highway that goes through town. The service was quick and friendly. The food was average.

Excellent food and unbelievably speedy service. My group of 20 converged on them at 8am for breakfast. Couldn't have been nicer! And so efficient. It was obvious the waitstaff had been doing this awhile. I would return without hesitation! Enjoy.

Very busy place, great for breakfast, please have an appetite when you go as they will fill you up. The biscuits and gravy are huge and will stay with the rest of the day. It has been there since 1949. It is dated inside but worked for us.

Great food. Great service! Around since 1942! My husband and I both had their omelets. Delicious! I asked for mine with just eggs whites- no problem and mi e was just as large as my husbands. Come with a big appetite because the serving are large!

The giant breakfast burrito was good and so was the biscuits and gravy. My husband said he didn't know the last time he had hash browns that were crispy. Definitely a good choice.

Wade through all of the college students, ranchers, town folks, and a few out of owners and settle in for some good fiddles! A very popular spot for anyone wanting an excellent meal with southwest favorites at a reasonable price served by 'efficient, friendly' servers.

Great little spot for lunch. Lots of locals and friendly waitresses. The hot roast beef sandwich was tender and accompanied by REAL mashed potatoes and green beans. Too bad they don't have pies though. Well be back if we make it to Gunnison again.

Thank Diane E
