Food is great ! From burgers to breakfast. Let's include the view is spectacular ! Sunrise, sunset, or mid afternoon in the dining area or porch is a treat. May even see deer or other animals walk by as you eat. Reasonable price as well

If you are in Big Bend National Park, this is a great place to eat. Since we stayed at the lodge, we were there for both dinner and breakfast. Great, fresh food and very reasonably priced. The views of the mountains make every mouthful wonderful.

Was really surprised in the Restaurant, not a big selection of food but what they offered was great, had the buffet breakfast in the morning, good selection. Staff was excellent, pleasant to be around. because of the remoteness it is the only game in town but well worth it.

Our group dined here four times during our stay: two times for dinner, one time for lunch, and two times for breakfast. Every meal was satisfying. The restaurant is certainly not fancy or fine and the menu is somewhat limited, but everyone (children as well as adults) always found something appealing, At one time or another each of us tried... Have stayed here twice- once when trapped by icy weather and another time when just exhausted after 19 mile hike and wanted to sleep in a bed. A highlight is the restaurant and bar which has above average food and the mashed potatoes for whatever reason are the best I have had in years. The breakfast buffet is very good.... More

This restaurant was great. Large sandwiches with great fries. Salad bar had 20+ items and two kinds of soup. Good prices!

we ate there 2 night and tried many different things all were good however the menu is quite limited, if you want a simple burger then you have to order from the child's menu. That's kinda weird. Service was really good but the view was amazing, seeing the sun set in the window while eating was outstanding.

One of the highlights of my trip through the park. I was hoping to stay here during my visit but the lodge rooms were sold out (if you want to plan on staying here I recommend making your reservations months in advance).... Just as I was getting ready to drive up to the Chisos mountain lodge, there appeared a storm... More

No frills, no TV, no internet access but the room and grounds are clean and have all the basics you need. There is a park store, ranger station, and restaurant in the same area. The scenery is beautiful and there are great views from all rooms. The lodge sits at the base of one of many hiking trails. It is... More

We ate here twice during our stay and the food was a bit better than average but not quite very good. The prices are higher due to it being in the national park (like any other restaurant in a national park). Service was a bit slow. The restaurant has a great view of the Window rock feature so you get... More
