Man La Junta is hurting for good dinner dining options. Plenty of the cool cafes open for Breakfast and Lunch only. Pretty much chains and this are all you will find. Standard VI fare, nothing special here. Staff seemed more pleasant here this visit. Overall your standard VI fare.

We had the nicest breakfast at the Village Inn in LaJunta, Colorado on our latest trip to the Rockies. Very clean, bright and friendly! I ordered a veggie omelet that came with a delicious sauce, plus fresh fruit and buckwheat pancakes! My husband had the ham and eggs platter, also with pancakes. Wonderful all around. Enough hot coffee to last... More

We walked in to a clean restaurant, excellent service. Our server was Serena. We both had turkey dinner with tomato basil soup. She freshly brewed ice tea for us. Food was very good, moist turkey and plenty of mashed potatoes. We indulged in dessert and were pleased with peanut butter cup pie. All was fine for a quick stop.

We arrived at 5:30 am to be the only customers in the building. The coffee was not fresh or hot. We ordered a Belgian waffle and began the wait. When it arrived it had black crusty specks all over the top. When we brought it to the servers attention she blamed it on the dirty waffle iron! She returned it... More

Was so pleasantly surprised with the friendly service and staff. We were visiting our daughter in college and frequented this place whenever we were there in La Junta. Great breakfast, also some awesome pies.

I've always liked Village Inn and when I visit Colorado, I make it a point to go at least once. The food was good as usual, but what I didn't know that was at this place, Wednesday's are free pie day!! Bonus pie and it was really good.

Ordered a breakfast entree. Eggs were not cooked as ordered. Sent them back, eggs came out again, not prepared correctly. Was scared to send them back again. Coffee was hot, others food was fine. Was just surprised incorrect eggs would be presented twice. They want to get you in and out at this location. No lingering over coffee. There was... More

We arrived in town on a Wednesday evening and were hungry. This being close to where we were staying, we decided to eat here. We ordered the standard fare which was very good and were reminded by our server that Wed. was free slice of pie day. What flavor would we like and would we like to eat it here,... More

From 3-6 p.m. they have a reduced price on their dinners. We had the chicken fried steak and turkey dinner. Both were very good. Nice atmosphere and very clean.
