Historic old hotel that also serves exceptional food. You can eat inside, on the porch or outside in the warm weather. Service is usually good. Food is always excellent. It's a real treat to eat here.

I am a fish taco guy and have tried them all over the US and Caribbean... the fish tacos are the best I have ever had, hands down. Great pairing and complexity of flavors and the house made chips are perfect.

We reserved a room at the Atlantic Hotel for a large private party. Everyone was extremely pleased with the quality of the food and the great service. We had the party over lunch, and were offered a nice selection of sandwiches and salads. Desert was excellent! Berlin is a cool little town and the Atlantic Hotel was a great place... More

Had the lunch soup and the special fish and chips. The portions were huge and the food was great. I would go back here again.

This is a very pleasant place for a break from local shopping. We've always had good food. Sometimes slow service.

We stoped here to have lunch. We had the crab dip as an appetizer and it was delicious. We had 2 bowls of soup one Maryland crab and one mushroom. Both were excellent. I asked for a single crab cake broiled. It was so good. With 2 drinks the bill was $39.50. The place is inside a charming old hotel... More

If one can say that Berlin has been undergoing a renaissance, The Atlantic Hotel and its restaurant can take a great deal of the credit. What the town has lost in its every-day, small-town character -- and it has lost just about all of it -- it has gained by transforming itself into a top-notch tourist destination. And this place... This is the town and hotel that was in the movie, "The Run-A-Way Bride"! I started with a Cosmo, which was perfectly made! I had the Ceaser Salad and a Crab Cake! We had the Creme Brulee for dessert (celebrating my sister's birthday). Everything was perfect. We did start off with the crab dip. It was served with a variety... More

Just back from a 4 day trip to Berlin, MD where I stayed at The Atlantic Hotel with friends. I had the crabby chicken pretzel club and fries, while my friend had her usual burger and fries. The food was so good that I was reluctant to eat anywhere else. On our second day, when another friend joined us, we... More

The Atlantic looks as though it has always been the grande dame of this charmingly restored downtown. To our surprise, we learned that Berlin had been essentially taken over about 20 years ago by businessmen who basically gutted and then restored several blocks o historic buildings. The Atlantic is the grandest of these, and the Drummer's Cafe was an excellent... More
