I've had a number of good meals at The Globe, though recently the quality seems to have slipped. For instance, at one recent meal I ordered the Cheese and Jam Tray as an appetizer and the Fish Tacos as an entree. I've had both of these before and they are usually delicious. This time not so much. The cheese tray... More

This will be a tradition on every weekend visit to go to the Globe for brunch with Bloody Mary's. the service always excellent. $2 Bloody Mary I would pay $10 for without any regret. Breakfast was delicious as always.

Ate lunch with a friend recently. Menu was appealing. Atmosphere interesting due to its' history as a movie theater. Service was prompt and friendly. My friend was very pleased with her salad, while I felt that my crab pizza was just OK. I would like to return and try something else on the menu before deciding if this place is... More

Went to The Globe for lunch last weekend with four other friends upon the recommendation of one of their friends. We were seated immediately, and our waitress was both very friendly and an excellent server. The food was very good with the exception of one woman's burger which, instead of being cooked medium-well was charbroiled/burned. They took the charge for... More

Had a good time sitting at the bar with drinks and food. Bartender friendly and attentive. Happy Hour includes local craft brews, decent wines, and good food.

This restaurant was once a theater. After a short wait, the three of us were seated and drinks ordered. We all had soup; cream of crab for me, vegetable for another, and mushroom for the other. I found the crab soup to be a bit too spicy for me. We added the grilled cheese sandwich to our orders. Very good.... More

Don't know if the hostess was overwhelmed or if it was a perception problem because we came in on motorcycles for bike week. Just know I've never heard, "just can't seat you, too backed up." If it's a good place we will never know....

Had dinner here last Friday evening and enjoyed the experience. We found a good menu with lots of choices and we chose the salmon which arrived as a huge serving topped by salsa. Their cornbread is homemade and arrived fresh and warm - it is yummy! Our dinner servings were plentiful and the food was tasty, and very good. The... More

This is ranked the #1 restaurant in the lovely historic town of Berlin, both by Trip Advisor and by the locals we talked to. If that's true, might as well eat in some other locale if you are looking for something outstanding. The Globe is an attractive, if dark, converted theater. Service is pretty good, food is average. Cream of... More
