Placed on order and was told they needed 30 minutes to prepare. Seemed odd for lunchtime in January but we went with it. Waited for over 55 minutes before food was finally ready and part of order was missing. What?! Was told they forgot to...cook item. We had them return our money for the cost of the missing item. Didn't have another hour to waste. After all that, food was bland and flavorless. This established used to be a regular "go-to" spots but there has been a real decline in quality over the last year or so. After our latest experience, we decided to no longer patronize.More

Some of the best we've had In many years of coming to Ocean city. Cream of crab, crabs, crab balls, shrimp, soft shell sandwich. All were excellent. We will be returning for as long as we can honestly say this.

On the way out of Ocean City, MD we saw this place and decided to stop in as my daughter was wanting some fish and chips. It turns out, they don’t serve F-N-C, but they said they offered something close. We ordered simple items from...their menu: 1) Shrimp Salad Sandwich, 2) Rockfish Bites (closest thing to F-N-C), and 3) a Diet Coke. #3 was served immediately so I left them a decent tip when I paid the just-under-$40 bill. We were told it would be 5-10 minutes for our order to be ready. After waiting 25 minutes and watching orders being delivered for 5 other groups that arrived after us as take-away orders, we finally received our underwhelming food. If you arrived and ordered take away, you were served fairly quickly. If you stayed to eat on premise, you had to wait. My family will not be going back because of 1) the bad service, and 2) the decent, but underwhelming, overpriced food.More

Stopped by for lunch with a large family party (4 adults, 3 kids), enjoyed the large, sand/seashell picnic tables in the outdoor eating area. Food was delicious and fairly priced. Enjoyes the clam strips, shrimp, fries, crab cakes and hush puppies.

My family has been buying crabcake sandwiches, fresh crabs, and other seafood from this place since starting to spend summers here in the early 1970s. There was a big hiatus when the kids were small and we risked them turning their nose up at something....Now that our kids are older we went back for a crabcake sandwiches one time, shellfish another, and fish another time. The crabcake sandwich was delicious, & came with a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, pickle, a roll, and A tiny container of tartar sauce. We asked for cocktail sauce and they provided it. However the meal seemed awfully expensive at $16. This may reflect the fact that we have not been going out much as a family, and that we have not gone out at all during Covid. We know that crabs have become far far far more expensive than they used to be. Our experience with shellfish was a little more disheartening . We didn’t realize that they would run out, and they didn’t have much left by the time we arrived. We bought mussels and clams. I asked for specific instructions on clams, since I had not cooked them at home previously I was told that they have the same steaming time as muscles. That was cheerful News, because it suggested that I only needed one pot. However, once I began steaming them with parsley and garlic, the little neck clams would not open. The mussels opened beautifully. Having built my dinner around shellfish, we went ahead and ate the clams, even though their opening was either delayed or nonexistent, and we’re still alive. It was frightening however. The fact that no one could give me accurate information and there was no interest in ensuring that I got the best experience from these expensive little beauties Was disappointing. I also was disappointed that I got so little information about the sourcing of the fish, which I purchased on another recent visit. The person at the window was not able to tell me, even after asking questions of others inside the store, whether any of the fish were caught locally I am not obsessed with with this subject, but had hoped to support local fishing operations, if at all possible. No one could tell me whether any of the fish had come from the area. The salmon we got was Wonderful, and I made a delicious dinner of it , if I do say so myself.More

Little place with a huge menu. Even with COVID-19 affecting a lot of places around here. Great prices great food. Waited a while after they told me my food would be ready but still worth it.

I've driven by here several times and there's always a line. We stopped by here the other day and had a very good diner. The prices were good and it takes about 20-minutes to get your food once you order. The lady made a mistake...with my order. So instead of expediting getting me the correct side dish, I had to wait another 20-minutes to get it. By that time my wife was just about finish her meal. That bothered me, so make sure the person takes your order correctly - it'll save a headache later. The place does basically take out, but they have several tables in an area off to the side. The tables have some shade, so on a good evening it's a nice place to sit to eat. We eat there since we did not want to take out order back to OC. The best kept secret is the gas station next door with a wide beer/wine selection. The prices weren't the typical over marketed up prices that you find in OC and the surrounding areas.More

I have lived on the Eastern Shore for nearly 50 years, but did not get seafood from here until the other day. It was excellent. I can see that some people think their price is expensive, but not for OC Md and the vicinity. Their...prices are comparable to anything in the area, but what matters is the quality. Their crab soup is one of the best unless you make it at home. Crabs were fat, juicy and not a questionable one in the lot. Their cold slaw was fresh and not simply repackaged out of a bulk order from Sysco. Same for the potato salad. Staff was friendly.More

Wanted to get some Flounder but the regular grocery stores did not have even in O.C.? Got some Flounder here and was very good, a little pricey at $22/lbs maybe just up because of the time of the visit. The place was small but very...nice and the people were very friendly and helpful.More

This is a popular carryout in the area for a variety of fresh and prepared seafood. Its location on Rt. 50 makes it a popular stop for many. The fresh seafood is good, the prepared seafood is excellent and both are relatively expensive. There are...cheaper places with the same quality.More

Fresh, reasonably priced fish, shrimp, crabs, clams and more here. These guys also do a daily lunch special for $7.99 that varies in content each day. The other goodness here is that they stay open 364 days a year, so you can get a seafood...fix during January and February when most other eateries are closed for the season. There is no indoor seating here, so plan to eat outside at their picnic tables or take your order to your house or hotel!More

We ordered crab cakes to be overnights to Ohio. We were told they would arrive at 10:30 am the next morning as we paid for overnight shipping of $80. Long story short the crab cakes arrived a day late. I called crabs to go to...get a refund on my shipping and they said they couldn't because FedEx wont refund them. So I paid for overnight shipping that I didn't receive and I cannot get a refund on. This was disastrous and very disappointing as we made plans based upon the arrival that crabs to go promised me. If they wont back up their promise I will take my business elsewhere. I have bought from crabs to go for over 15 years. Nothing for my loyalty. I'm sure this wont hurt them as they are crazy busy but if you are thinking of shipping anything beware. I could have lied and said the crab cakes were no good but I didn't. But crabs to go doesn't seem to give a damn over the situation or making good with a dissatisfied customer.More

Ordered lunch and ate it on the outside patio. Bought beer next door to have with meal. I ordered fish tacos which were delicious and large portioned. Others in my party enjoyed their meals of crab cakes, fish burgers and salads.
