Nice atmosphere. Well staffed. Filet melts in your mouth. It is located at a golf course; it is a nice country-like setting.

My wife and I celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday the 14th. Both waiter and his assistant gave excellent service. Wife and I dinner was superb! Fillet, fog augratin potatoes, creme brulee. Champagne toast and dessert were complimentary. Berlin/Ocean City Ruth Chris is in...a restored horse riding stable over looking a beautiful golf course. Thanks again staff of Ruth Chris for a wonderful meal to celebrate our milestone 40th Wedding Anniversary!🎉More

I visited Ruth's Chris recently for the first time. I had shied away because I am not a big meat eater. However, given the multiple alternative choices on the menu, I decided to visit. I was not disappointed. I had the panko crusted sea bass...with butter garlic served on a bed of spinach. It was to die for - without a doubt the best fish I had in several years. My dinner companions both had surf and turf and were well pleased. Please note that the sides are large and can easily be shared between two people. Special kudos to our server Gabe who was attentive but not intrusive. The ambience of the restaurant was what you expected for a fine dining establishment. I cannot wait to return.More

I missed the days when RC took extra steps for their dining guests. I remember when white napkins were switched out for black napkins if the guest was wearing black. I seem to remember the servers' vests and pants were always clean. I remember getting...a decent-sized dessert if a guest was celebrating something. Menu item prices went up 40%. Three of us had dinner (one alcoholic drink each for two of us) and the bill was $300 before gratuity. I don't mind paying that price if they meal was exceptional, but it wasn't. It was just average. The complimentary dessert they brought out was the size of a silver dollar. Although the service was exceptional, it's just too much to pay for average food.More

We have busted in the past with great food and impeccable service. Not sure what had changed but the service was not great and the food came out cold except for the steaks. Soup cold. Coffee cold. Potatoes cold. Desserts have changed and the bread...pudding was terrible. Very disappointed When you pay premium price you expect premium service and food.More

Warm bisque, stale buns, steaks reversed when served, but worst of all, the lengthy loud conversation between an employee and the couple at a neighboring table, not to the mention gnats. No, we’ve had much more enjoyable meals at about half the price!

We went for lunch in the afternoon. Waitstaff was excellent, spot on. We were a party of 6. The French dip and crab cake sandwiches were excellent. The remaining people ordered the prime burger. It's a $20 burger that I've had at at other ruth...chris. They are a common fare at their happy hours for $11. They over cooked them All. 4 Dried out hockey pucks. Our family has a policy of not sending back food. We're not confident the food we would get back should be eaten. We showed the waiter the all over cooked meat. We got a couple comp deserts. You could tell this place could be rated higher with a little more attention by the cook. Today they failed to rise to the challenge.More

Had dinner here on Father’s Day, although it is a chain, the food surpasses anything in OC. You always get great, attentive service and a fabulous hot meal. I have tried so many other restaurants in OC, this is the only restaurant that is headed...by true Chefs that ensure your entire meal is excellent from start to finish. There are no line cook meals here or foods prepared earlier in the day and placed under heat lamps. We keep trying other restaurants and are always disappointed. This is our go-to place. They are consistent from start to finish. Keep going back!!!! The seafood tower is worth every penny!!!!More

There's one thing I love about Ruth's Chris - I know I will get the same excellent meal no matter which one I visit. And I'm a creature of habit so it's always the creamed spinach, mashed potatoes and a medium cooked filet. And I've...always received the same excellent service. Sam was absolutely great and she made the dinner a wonderful experience for my birthday!!More

This is one of the worst meals I have had in my 20 years in Ocean City...what was meant to be a celebration of delayed events turned into one of the most disappointing evenings I have ever experienced. Was shown into a lovely anteroom overlooking...the golf course...only to discover...too late...that there was also not 1 but 2 tables of 20 (40 total) of underdressed, loud, totally inappropriate behavior of young adults. They had no idea of how to eat at an upscale restaurant. Their volume drowned out not only the music but our server. I was told that this is a common occurrence since the management has no guidelines on how to curb this type of behavior...obviously the word has gotten out that this is the place to go for outrageous behavior with no repercussions. As to the food... the filets looked...and tasted...more like pot roast than prime beef. The brussels sprouts were barely cooked...could not pierce them with a fork. The hollandaise for the asparagus was cold. Even a gift card did not make up for the horrible meal, the inexcusable lack of ambiance and their seemingly inability to control the situation.More

Advice ... there are three sizes of rib eyes, the smallest, 12 oz. Our party of six ordered all three sizes and believe me, the 12 ounce is out of this world and anything larger is overkill. My only issue is that in a $600.00...night, service should be more white-gloved and attentive. RC's is a popular chain and the service is appropriate for a good chain operation but it's not quite equal to the top-drawer prices.More

This is a Beautiful building that is fill with great history. The build is a 100 year old beautifully restored horse stable that sits on a golf course. Food comes out on super hot plates so there is no chance you food will be cold....Nice flavors of every dish. Wait staff was friendly and accommodating. At first we were seated at a table with no view. I asked the hostess that since we have never been there before and it was my birthday I would love a view. She moved us a table down. I wish it was a little more private and space from others. We booked on line and it was easy and efficient. Very nice place to eat.More

We visited RC for my fiancé's sister's 18th birthday on a Sunday evening. I was craving a bone-in ribeye Pittsburg style. We had a party of 8 which was split into 2 table of 4. Wedge salad was delicious with a nice amount of blue...cheese crumbles. I ordered the Ribeye Pittsburg style and received a ribeye with no special treatment. The steak was good and cooked rare to medium, but not Pittsburgh style. Since we were in a group and celebrating an 18th birthday I didn't want to make a scene and send it back. Again, the flavor was there but not what I ordered. My wife ordered the filet (Chesapeake Style) which was good but the presentation lacked. We ordered a side of scalloped potatoes which were forgettable - Betty Crocker box style forgettable. I also ordered a side of mushrooms which were good. Overall the service was very good (Linda). Thank God I brought a bottle of wine (Mercury Head) to accompany the meal. If you go opt for the winter specials which are favorable. Will I return??? Maybe.... Nice ambiance but get your wallet out $$$$More

We dine at Ruth’s Chris on special occasions. We have never been disappointed. Last night celebrating our anniversary we were surprised by having our expectations exceeded. The greeting from the Hostess, to the staff friendliness set a enjoyable evening. Our Server Paul was outstanding. He...was very professional in wine selection and meal choices. Our dinner got off to a bad start as the caprese salad was poorly constructed and overwhelmed with black pepper. Both the tomatoes and cheese were chopped which is not what we expected for that type of salad. Probably no more than one slice of...cheese for the entire salad. From there things improved substantially. My cowboy ribeye and my wife's filet were prepared as ordered and the taste was excellent. Our sides of creamed spinach and sweet potato casserole were very good. The service was attentive and friendly. The facility in the country club is beautiful. If not for the starter experience it would have definitely earned 5 stars.More

I think really dress casual would be the correct attire. Because of resort area you would see all types of dress though. From sport coat to shorts. My opinion is that it does deserve a tad nicer dress up.
