Cafe Tatti is a true gem. Small, intimate, it’s like a visit to the Left Bank or your favorite getaway. It’s maintained it’s high standards for service and quality food for decades. My wife’s favorite meal is the salmon on spinach. Served with potato’s and salad, three of our guests last night enjoyed it as well. The beef bourguignon (2 guests) served over perfectly cooked noodles was equally well done as was the trout almandine. Our host paired the fish and beef with excellent, reasonably priced white and red wines. Each meal came with a wonderful Caesar salad and freshly cooked bread. This was a takeout meal because my wife is ill. But as she said, they could not have done better. We will return to enjoy the Tournedos and lamb shank. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

Had a nice lunch with a cousin at this restaurant. Hadn't been in several years, but was rewarded with good food! We had Caesar salad with a huge chunk of broiled salmon and an avocado stuffed with baby shrimp. Both very tasty! Along with a warm small baguette - perfect for lunch. Good service.

Everything about my visit was exceptional! The paté was so delicious. Rich and creamy. The lamb shank was perfectly done, moist with a crisp exterior. The Caesar salad and sides were perfect accompaniments. And on top of this when my leftovers were accidentally thrown out they insisted on giving me a replacement. I wish I lived close so I could make this a weekly stop. All in all I can't give a high enough review.

The food is always very good and the wait staff makes you feel appreciated. The space is small but nicely done. If they were in DC they'd always be packed.

We had a lovely dinner of chicken cordon bleu and rainbow trout meunière served by Said and with accompanying Greek wine. A perfect little evening!

My first visit there and was quite delighted. My companion had been there and recommended it highly. We enjoyed our delicious meal and the staff was so pleasant. Definitely returning.

For many years my wife and I have enjoyed Christmas Eve at Cafe Tatti. Many times the meals, atmosphere and the service were great. Last night was different! I booked a table long in advance and asked for the window table. When we arrived we got the window table, which was great. What followed was not. I checked the menu of Café Tatti on-line and specifically went there to get a Soup a l’Onion with a Veal Schnitzel. I was told there was no soup a l’Onion that night, only a seafood bisque. I chose the fallback soup and got very disappointed (no real lobster bisque taste. I ordered the Veal Schnitzel…guess what I got: a thoroughly over-cooked tin slice of veal, breaded with an egg and capers on top, in a brown sauce. This came with under-cooked Brussels sprouts, and some pommes gratin. What a disappointment! Everyone who ever travelled in Europe knows that a Veal Schnitzel is a tinny slice of veal, breaded, lightly cooked and served with lemon...i.e. no sauce, no egg, no capers and definitely not topped with brown sauce. Whoever came up with the variation I got probably never had a real Schitzel. My wife chose a Filet de Sole Amandine. Also she was disappointed. The salad served in between the appetizer and the entree was about the best we had last night. It will be a long time before we go back to Cafe Tatti. Either they get rid of their cook or they will continue to loose customers to restaurants who provide more authentic French cuisine.

For several years in a row we have chosen Cafe Tatti as our favorite place to have Christmas Eve Dinner. We book a table weeks in advance and try to reserve a table at the window (there are only two of those). On the evening itself we show up on time. There is usually ample parking in the back of the restaurant. Our favorite dishes include the Tournedos au Poivre and the Lamb shank (which is not always on the menu). As appetizers we love the escargots.

Three ladies celebrated a birthday at lunch at Tatti's. It was a perfect choice for a celebration! Everyone's food was delicious. We felt as if we were at a best friend's home: service was not only excellent but exceedingly welcoming. The "birthday girl" felt very special with an enticing surprise dessert - thanks to Tatti management. We cannot wait to return!

Very good food, and good service. We live in Maryland but we were meeting friends who live near this place. It wasn't easy to find, even with GPS because it's in a sort of power center with different building connected by a paring lot. Their sign was not obvious from where we turned. The dining room was small-ish but the service was very good and the food was excellent. My friend had the duckling; she said she tends to get it every tie because it's so good. I love Bearnaise sauce, so I was pleased to see the small filet came that; for some reason the menu called it "Town & Country." My husband liked his Greek omelet. They have a bakery on-site, too, so we shared some desserts. Yummy chocolate mousse! Our friends liked the coconut cream pie.

Cafe Tatti is an institution with an older clientele and a kitchy decor featuring the French rooster in all its forms. The flavor now is a bit Greek but the food remains in the French bistro tradition. It is real food, cooked just right. The price are fair and the service is very good. Parking behind the restaurant is ample. This is a safe choice.

My first visit, but met up with family members who were regular patrons of this cafe. Very extensive dinner menu including various european cuisines. I had the crab stuffed flounder which was very good. Service was attentive. Our party included an elderly aunt who placed an "off menu" order which was filled with respect and no hesitation. That alone was enough for me recommend this establishment.

On our recent visit to our friends at Cafe Tatti we found a new energy. While many of the old favorite dishes remain such as Duck a la Orange and Veal Picatta, we are finding new favorites in the nightly specials. In particular the Fish dishes are delicious with new bright flavors. This is a comfortable french cafe with great food and friendly atmosphere.
