Our party of 7 had an enjoyable dinner. The service by Liz was friendly, prompt and attentive. Clearly she's an experienced server and was great at her job. Our entrees arrive quickly and were prepared as ordered. The food was well prepared and fresh. 6...of us ordered flat iron steaks which were well prepared and seasoned. Salads were only iceberg, but still cold and freshly prepared. All in all, we really enjoyed our experience and our food. Definitely on the recommendation list.More

Staff was missing a few teammates. But the team that was there pulled together, served up about 10 tables in less than an hour, with 1 waitress, 2 bussers, 2 cold cooks and manager. Great team work!! And the food was wonderful!

Located just outside Moab, this restaurant is a favorite with budget- conscious tourists and locals alike. The rack of ribs special was priced at half of what we paid in town the night before. As we ordered, people from neighboring tables offered comments! The food...was excellent; we had steak and a french dip and both were great. Salad was iceberg, but included lots of carrots, onions, beets, etc. The fry bread was a treat. The best deal we found all week.More

I am on soft foods until able to wear dentures. She is friendly,...efficient and not intrusive. I han tasty Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and delicious flat bread with an excellent Dead Horse amber beer. D had a very good pork chop. We are from Texas touring West left Bryce Canyon then Arches, Pagosa Springs next.More

The hush puppies were so delicious. We split an order of the Navajo taco and the friendly server was so nice to do separate plates with all the fixings for each half. The restaurant was decorated in a cowboy/western theme and lights were up as...decoration. There is inside and outside seating, though the patio section was closed during our visit. The restaurant and bathroom were clean and there is a fair amount of parking spaces for the restaurant. The restaurant is across of the Shell gas station so easy to find.More

Date night with my better half, and the Branding Iron's food did not disappoint. We would have stayed for desert but that little blue pill was kicking in faster then we expected. LOL

Found Suzy's Branding Iron while waiting for access to Arches in October 2021. I ordered the Country Fried Steak dinner, and my husband ordered the Fried Chicken dinner. We were Amazed! The gravy served with my home-made mashed potatoes and Country Fried Steak was the...best ever - well except my grandmothers. My husbands Fried chicken came with 3 large pieces of chicken - and he could not eat all of it which is not normal for this guy. The service was good and our waitress was apologetic for what we considered a short wait. Don't Miss this Place !!!More

We love this place! It's a few miles outside of town, but worth the short drive. The service is outstanding. The food is delicious. The decor is western-themed. Have never had a menu item that was anything less than fantastic.

We found this restaurant on Yelp, and liked the reviews. It looked busy, but we found a place to park & we were seated as soon as we walked in. It was warm (literally & figuratively) upon entering. After seating us, our hostess brought us...our drinks. I had the hot tea (hot water and tea bags to choose from brought to the table with sweeteners) & husband had the iced tea. Honey was already on the table. Yum. Lesley was hustling! And she hustled for us, too. She took our orders, and started bringing food out as it was ready. Husband got his freshly made salad within minutes. It was very good! I know because he let me finish it - including the beet and cucumbers that he dislikes. He does not know what he’s missing. All of it was great! He ordered the country fried steak, which came with corn and mashed potatoes with white gravy. I got the Lady Burger without cheese or fries. I asked for the coleslaw instead. Everything came out about 15 minutes later, and everything was good. The coleslaw was creamy and slightly sweet, the way I like it. The six ounce burger was the perfect size, cooked just the way I like it - medium. It was a lovely evening, with good food and excellent staff!More

We stopped here early on a Sunday night and there was only 1 other couple dining but not long after, the place was packed. The waitress was very friendly and gave just the right amount of attention. The chicken fried chicken was so tender and...juicy and the portion was very generous. My husband had Fried chicken and loved it. Highly recommend for a a delicious cowboy meal that won't break the budget!More

We ate at Susie’s the first night of our stay in Moab. The restaurant was near where we were staying. We were tired from traveling and just wanted a place to get a meal. The restaurant ended up being one of our favorites in Moab....My husband and I had the barbecue ribs and they were wonderful. The ribs were meaty and tender and the portion was huge. It was served with fry bread which I had never had before and am now addicted to. We enjoyed our meal so much that we went back a second night.More

Ordered takeout from Susie’s. I was never able to get anyone on the phone so had to go in and place order in person. I think $20 for a hamburger and onion rings was a little over priced (no drink). The burger was big and...average in taste, nothing special. The place seemed very busy. Get there early.More
