Our group orders varied from burgers, shrimp basket, trout, chicken specialties and steaks. Each meal was beautifully presented. Our waiter was Mickey and he did an awesome job taking care of our water needs and giving attention to detail. I’m positive the other waitresses and...waiters are excellent, but you’ll be very fortunate to get Mickey. This was a fantastic dining experience and much appreciated after a hard day off-roading local trails.More

Mickey our server was great! Excellent food for the whole family! Daughter will enjoy the Frisbee that came with the kids meal. Big servings for a hungry group after a day of hiking at the park.

Our family stumbled on The Broken Oar our last night in Moab and it turned out to be the best meal we've had in a LONG time. Our server, Shay, was PHENOMENAL and made our 7 year old son feel like family. You MUST try...the sweet-potato fries, they are AMAZING!! We almost ordered a second helping to go. Additionally, the remainder of our meal was exquisite. Customer Service: Top notch (ask for Shay). Atmosphere: Top Marks (truly feels unique and inviting) Food: Smack yo' momma good! Price: Extremely Resonable for the location.More

Dakota our server, and Johnnie, the runner, epitomize thoughtful, proactive, upbeat service. A full, bustling restaurant and they provided special attention to ALL tables. They handled special requests graciously and quickly, while servicing many tables. Impressive.

We stumbled onto The Broken Oar by accident, and so thankful we did!! Lovely atmosphere, super warm and inviting. Every person we came in contact with was friendly and had a smile. The food was delicious. If you are “on the fence” at all about...the sweet potato fries, get them!!! It was like having dessert for dinner. Our daughter is 10 and got a kids pizza. When she finished eating our server said “you get to take that tray home.” She flipped it over and it was a frisbee!! Such a thoughtful and neat idea for the kiddos. Mickey was our server and was excellent! Very helpful with menu questions and super fast and friendly service. One of our new favorites when we come back to Moab for sure!More

Had pork tacos, shrimp & chips & Buffalo wings. Wings were very tasty with very flavorful sauce. Tacos excellent with smoky flavor, cilantro and salsa. Shrimp was very good with very good sweet potato fries. The American Wheat Hefeweizen on tap was very good. All...the food was served hot and timely. Our server, Rainbow, took very good care of us and always checked to make sure everything was okay. Highly recommend the Broken Oar.More

Poor food, poor service. Could not deal with a large group. Kitchen was in disarray and waiters did not know who had ordered what.

We went in for date night and to see our favorite server in town, Melena, for her birthday! As always we were seated quickly and in Melena's section. She's very familiar with the menu and has great recommendations. I had the Sriracha porkchop and the...hubby had the ribeye. They both were amazing and delicious! You gotta give this place a go and sit in Melena's section!More

We tried this restaurant at the recommendation of one of the store associates downtown. We were seated relatively quick- 15 mins. Service was incredibly slow. But we ordered- burgers, chicken tenders were fine, husband ordered a ribeye with all the extras. Ribeyes are a little...fatty but this was thin and mostly fat. No sear to it- seemed like something you’d find on a buffet. Bbq butter was ok, not great. Skip this- not worth it or if you go, avoid the “steak”.More

The first time we ate here the service was dreadful, it took over an hour to get our food even though tables around us were empty. The food was ok, pork chop was good but Caesar salad was very poor, give it a miss. Tried...to go a second time, only because it was near our hotel and was informed we would have to wait 30 mins for a table even though we could see 6 empty in front of us. There was no were to wait so we went elsewhere. The owners come iin when we were waiting for our food and only seemed to be concerned about where the condiments were positioned on the table and ensuring the exceptionally heavy chairs were tucked under the table! Disappointing overall but could be so much better. It was busy so perhaps other people think differently.More
