My daughter loves sushi, so we took a shot. Our waitress was great, told us they were short staffed and our food may be awhile but it came very quickly and we loved it all. The sunshine roll was delicious and unusual. Just as good or better than our usual joint back in Annapolis.

We arrived late at the restaurant and yet they accepted to serve us exceptionally! We had the best sushis in moths, maybe years! Vegan options available too!!! Our daughter had grilled chicken with white rice and a delicious sauce. In the end we shared the mochi ice cream. Everything was perfect and the service was amazing. Thank you guys for... More

We had an unexpectedly nice meal at Sabaku. The decor is nothing fancy but my husband had excellent sushi and I had very nicely prepared teriyaki style chicken. Our server, Sally was very friendly.

After a long day it was a nice treat to find some yummy sushi in Moab UT - who knew! Had the drink specials which were just ok. It was nearing closing time and some staff seemed slightly irritated at our arrival but we stuck with it as we were starving! It was worth it as not a piece of... More

Good quality sushi with a sushi bar you can sit at. It took awhile to get a seat but they were also busy. Good sushi rolls and sake and the mussel shooters were excellent as well.

For a person who grew up with native Japanese food, this doesn't even come close to 'Sushi'. We weren't expecting much from a non-Japanese owned restaurant in the middle of nowhere; miles away from the sea, but it turned out to be a huge regret. Miso soup did not have any dashi in it. Very bland. It even came with... More

We had a spider roll, unagi, maguro and hamachi. The sushi was authentic tasting and apparently fresh. The atmosphere was okay, typical for this area. We definitely felt the food was good, but not superior. If we are in Moab again, we would go back to this restaurant. We have been spoiled by better sushi in Cotati, California.

Who would have thought I'd have great sushi in the middle of the desert? They have a list of discounted sushi from 5-6 everyday so that was a treat. The service was great and locals eat here just as much as tourists. The sunset roll is a must!!

This restaurant touts itself as the "Premiere Sushi Restaurant in Moab". Wow...they need to be a bit more humble. We've eaten better sushi at burger joints. First, I called in our order for pick-up. It included, among other items, 3 seaweed salads. My husband went to pick up the order; when he got back to our coach, he discovered that... More

Ate here for dinner & had sushi & steak tenderloin. I found sushi to be ok - rice was a bit hard (maybe stale) and fish didn't taste as fresh as I've had on West or East coast-but what do you expect in the middle of the desert? Felt like it was more hype than taste. Ok for 1 try... More
