Worst way to spend $80. Hush puppies were dust, Mac and cheese was cold and dry, bbq was mediocre. Atmosphere is cool but take a pass on the food, much better options in Moab.

This is NOT BBQ in know way what so ever. Just another example of Tourist Town Train Wreck Robbery. The UP-CHARGE you if you want BEEF and their "SO CALLED" BBQ Sauces SUCK! Small portions of food with no flavor, dry meats and can good...salads! If your SMART -- pass this place up when visiting Moab Utah.More
We stopped here for a cocktail after an afternoon of off-roading, and we were pleasantly surprised. Nice comfortable vibe, clean and light, with a full bar, and a really nice wait staff. We had not had much luck finding good cocktails in Moab, but Spitfire...delivered. We had the Old Fashioned, Margarita and a Kentucky Mule- all good. We also ordered loaded fries which came out in about 2 minutes…not sure if they were left over from someone else’s order…but they were just “meh”…we decided to go elsewhere for dinner…but would def come back for a cocktail here.More
We found Spitfire Smokehouse looking for another restaurant but went back the next day. Quick service - we had barely chosen our table before the waiter was there with our food. My wife had ribs and I had the brisket and pulled pork. All very...good! They have 5-6 different sauces, including a white barbecue sauce, all very tasty. Would go again and would recommend.More
Stopped in on Tuesday night while in Moab. Had a great meal. Good portion sizes and really good sauces. This was some good BBQ
This was about the worst dining experience we have ever had. First, the service. We said we wanted to order drinks and then order food after we had a chance to enjoy our drinks. We were told that it is Utah state law that we...had to order the drinks and the food and make payment all at the same time. Although we are not from Utah, we have been in several dozen restaurants in Salt Lake City and Ogden and a few others in Moab and none of them, not a single one, told us that we had to order our drinks and food and pay for everything at the same time. After we paid, I requested that the food not be brought out immediately after we got our drinks and could they wait 10 or 15 minutes. They agreed. Of course, they brought out the food immediately after serving our drinks. Either the people in this place thought they would have some fun with out-of -towners or they are incredibly stupid. As for the food, the brisket was ok, but that was the highlight of the evening. The ribs and sausage were tasteless. The sides we had - french fries, coleslaw, potato salad and beans - all tasted like they had been sitting out for many hours. The food was served in a tray on top of a paper napkin. When you had to cut any food with a knife and fork, quite often you would get bits of the napkin on the food pieces that you then had to pick off before eating the food. How incredibly stupid it is to serve BBQ on top of a paper napkin! When I asked for some water, I was handed a plastic cup and told I could go over to a soda machine that would dispense water. It dispensed water alright along with little bits of dirt. This place needs an inspection by the Health Department.More
We could see this from the Hoodoo Moab where we were staying and although the hotel didn't know much about it we are glad that we tried it. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the platters and...the sides and it was great that it was served promptly with plenty of sauces to try. Dessert was less successful but overall it was a good meal.More
off the main road but good location. its an order at counter take a number and they bring it out place. quick service. Hubby got the rib platter with beans and coleslaw and hushpuppies. I got the chicken with grits and mac and cheese. The...portions are huge. The hushpuppies are kinds dry as were grits. Mac & cheese was very good as was the chicken. Ribs were the star, other sides were meh but a great place to get a quick meal and beer and ribs.More
Great BBQ in a casual setting. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our meal. The portions were large enough to share. We visited twice during our Moab stay. They have parking which makes a visit even more pleasant.
Tender ribs, wings, great range of artisan beers, friendly helpful staff, all at eminently reasonable prices. Perfect holiday meal option.
Ordering process was easy. Menu options were plenty as well as drinks (and local microbrews). Service was prompt in getting food to the table. Ribs could have been cooked a bit more as they were slightly fatty and difficult to chew. Pulled pork was awesome...as well as sides. Fun activities (darts, billiards) in connecting bar to enjoy after dinner. Great portion size also. Will visit again.More
Was really looking forward to eating here. It was close to our hotel and it a variety of bbq item on the menu. Best thing was the hot house bbq sauce. We got the brisket and pulled pork platters. Sides were potato salad, beans mac...and cheese and a side salad. EVERYTHING WAS COLD! Was a shame because the pulled pork has possibility to be really good, but it was cold. Who eats cold bbq???More
We couldn’t eat the food. By the time we sat down after we ordered, the food was on our table so that has to tell you something. We both got platters and the food was cold and flavorless. When we read some of the reviews,...they were mediocre. I thought, how can you screw up bbq?? Well, now I know. DO NOT EAT H ERE.More
We had a BBQ bowl and a 1 person platter with grits and a salad. Both Chicken. I would say the platter is more bang for the buck, more meat, more grits. The bowl is good and nice, but a smaller portion and only 1$...difference in price. Beers are good, several on draft and around $5. You order the food at the counter, tap your drinks and even before you are back on your chair the food is served. High quality and very tasty. Free condiments (5 sauces). Nice ambiance. Wi-Fi code on request (it is fast though). Anyway. Good place to get a quick dinner.More
I found a place with good spirit, nice people and very good food. The portion are very generous and and very tasty. A nice stop after long days at the arches.
