Popped by for an early supper. Buddy had the pulled pork on a bun and I tried the beef brisket on a bun. Service was quick. The young fellow that took our order brought us our eats and some sauce, if you figured it needed...it. And he was exceptionally polite. We devoured our food with no scraps. Delicious. Fair price and not skimpy on the meat factor. Would return when I'm in the area.More

We were recommend this place by word of mouth and reviews on here. This place is not a restaurant, its a road side vendor but you can use the bar it is attached to. I can not recommend this place enough, the bbq food was...incredible and cooked fresh every day. Once it has sold out thats it. I highly recommend this to anyone.More

Opened today at 2 pm and closes when they run out of meat. The brisket was awesome. Really flavorful from the cooking, no sauce added. I thought the price pretty reasonable once I saw they didn’t skimp on the 1/3 pound sandwich. The bread wasn’t...the best I’ve ever had but it was big and fresh. Sauce is a personal preference, but I didn’t love the sweet (my usual pick), the mustard or a mix of the two. So, I ate the meat without sauce and it was wonderful.More

This was simply the best smoked meat we'd ever had! The husband and wife owners who man the tiny food trailer were enthusiastic about their background and ambitions. The man told us he'd learned to smoke meat at age 14 in his home town in...North Carolina, and that his goal was to open a permanent restaurant in town. We're delighted to encourage visitors to to support their vision. My husband and I tried the tri-tip and pulled pork and both were smokey, plentiful, moist and just delicious! We mopped up the homemade BBQ sauce with the meat as we ate it. Our side was the beans - good but small. The meat is the whole thing here. We went to a BBQ chain in Grand Junction, CO a few days later and just kept talking about how vastly superior this stuff was. It really is terrific!More

When we called, she told us that this was a food truck, Wrong. This 6 foot x 8 foot cramped trailer with a grill out back and a bunch of picnic tables. Our barbecue wasn't even hot. It was lukewarm. The meat was tender and...they gave you a lot of it on waxed paper on a paper plate. It was not cooked with barbecue sauce as is the tradition so that the flavor of the barbeque sauce permeates the meat. This is grilled meat and cold barbecue sauce on it. The sides are good but quite small. There is huge difference between the reality of this place and the fake reviews posted here.More

Wow! I am so sorry you did not like our BBQ. We smoke it in the North Carolina traditional style which means sauce on the side so the flavor of the meat comes out and the guest can add the sauce if wanted. North Carolina...More

Any choice is a good choice here! He's only open certain days and certain hours, so if open I would stop and give it a try. You won't be disappointed. The owner is super friendly and the BBQ is amazing!

I'd seen the many positive reviews of this place and had to try it out. Everyone said that it's just like a kiosk in the street, not a brick & mortar establishment, but that the food was terrific. They were right! We stopped by and...saw this tiny shack next to the sidewalk and thought we may have been mistaken. NO WAY!! First of all, there's a surprisingly large selection of dishes and it was hard to pick just one. I had probably the best ribs I'd ever eaten: so perfectly spiced & cooked. Seating is a bit limited on a few picnic style tables, and you drinks are soda cans dunked in ice water. I'm not saying they are negative, just wanted to mention what to expect. The owners are really nice & friendly, and love to talk to you. Do NOT take into consideration that it's on the sidewalk, just eat there and you won't be disappointed. Simply delicious!More

Delightful owners and service! Unbelievably delicious! Pulled chicken seasoning was a wonderful surprise and of course brisket and pulled pork were also terrific. We went back the next day. You really do need to get there first hour or two after opening to have a...full selection of options.More

Can’t say it enough, this place serves up the type of bbq you hope for when you’re craving! I eat there regularly and it is always consistently delicious! I’m a bit of a food snob and find it hard to eat at a lot of...places because I’m picky about quality, absolutely love this joint!More
