Had hit other places in town and based on reviews, tried Granny Bee’s. It did not disappoint. Had a grilled shrimp and steak special and was especially pleased by the shrimp. Salad bar was a bit average, but overall very good. The hot rolls that...More

Yummy Southern fare at reasonable prices. Recommend rice pudding. Took visitors from out-of-town who enjoyed taste of local, non-chain fare. Very casual. Parking lot across the street or on street -- no fees.

A hometown diner at it's best! The food is fresh and homemade! The daily specials are a must! I am super fond of the Meatloaf (usually get two pieces when I order, lol)! The Granny rolls area delight and cornbread is buttery goodness! But wait,...More

The food was ok, the staff was wonderful. A cute little stop on a rainy day! When we left it was raining to much to visit the town. We will be back!

We had dinner here while touring the Civil War site. The night we were there was the fried chicken special, the chicken was slightly overdone and a little dry but still ate it all. Just a little less cooking next time! The homemade rolls were...More

We chose this restaurant over others because of the reviews. Being from south Alabama, we were looking forward to some of our regular, home-cooked comfort food. Not the case. First thing was that our menus weren't the same. Some had different options than others so...More

The staff was pretty friendly. Very businesslike. Maybe being an outsider I didn't experience the social interaction that I saw going on around me with the local. The food was O.K.. I got the BBQ. I guess it wasn't there specialty. The sides were tasty,...More

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Food was pretty good. Better than just going to McDonald's. If you're passing through Appomattox then it wouldn't hurt to stop by.

They serve what I would call Southern Food. They have a menu. You can find it by doing a search "Granny Bee's menu Appomattox."

They are not on the Internet , it's just a small, friendly diner, recommend it to anyone. They open at 6am in a morning , not sure what time they close John, Great Britain

Agree with both previous responses! Lot of locals eat at this restaurant! It's that homey and good! Went on a Thursday for lunch and it was about 3/4 full!
