We had an early dinner here and it was great. Unfortunately, they do not have a gluten free menu. Fortunately, there is plenty of gf choices on the menu. The brisket is soooo good! Tbe smoke their own meats- brisket, pulled pork or chicken, ribs....Prices are very reasonable, waitress was friendly, atmosphere was laid back.More
Walked to this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening from Longacre Bed & Breakfast. We both had Steak & Cheese sandwiches which were delicious! It also came with two sides. Portions are generous for the price. Service was friendly and prompt. We would definitely...recommend this casual restaurant!More
We love coming to the Rail Yard. The food is always freshly prepared, fresh ingredients, and friendly service.
I usually get the omlet and home fries...
My hubby gets eggs and ham. Their blueberry biscuit is out of this world.
Today I added a second...side of fried okra.... homemade and delicious! All their prices are great and you get a lot of foodMore
This family owned and operated wonderful place had REAL home cooking with service that made us feel like family! The meatloaf was the best I ever had and the fried potatoes were a great side. My wife had a delicious club sandwich with corn pudding...that was good enough to be a dessert!More
We had toured Appomattox and were looking for somewhere to eat on a Sunday afternoon, which in a small town can be hard to find. Luckily we found this place on Google. We both had burgers, which were good and were so glad to see...your could get them with something instead of fries. Both their okra and onion rings were excellent. We were also able to get a salad as one of our sides which is unusual. Salads were not skimpy. Definitely would eat here again.More
