The restaurant has great potential. It is reasonably priced and the food is very good. The server was a bit chilly. Sort of stand offish. We had a bottle of wine and she did not know how to serve it to us.

Found this restaurant on Trop Advisor and my fellow reviewers convinced me to go. Great choice! It has a Cajun food theme and both of our dishes where fantastic. In hindsight it is a very small restaurant so I would recommend reservations.

My friend and I had a wonderful meal. The restaurant is is an 100 year old house and is very small with a few tables downstairs and a few upstairs. The wine list was inexpensive and we were pleased with the quality for a low price. I had the jambalaya and my friend had the crab and shrimp postage. Both... More

In the plethora of bad to mediocre that is dining in Harpers Ferry, this is more than a breath of fresh air. Honest Louisiana fare is a wonderful diversion after spending a day hiking/biking/rafting/tubing/etc. You need to visit here if for no other reason than the supporting the notion that good food can and should be available when visiting the... We were looking forward to a date night out and were encouraged by the reviews of this place, which is in a historic building. However, when we got there, it was extremely hot because the kitchen is right by the front door and it's not air conditioned. Service was poor and food was average. The jambalaya was basically boxed rice... More

Thanks Erin for your comments. You are right about the entrance of the building being hot at the time you came. We have since installed another air conditioner at the entrance to try and keep up with the heat. Remember this is a 230 year old stone building so by the evening time it is basically a bread oven on... More

We stopped on a whim as we were walking in Harpers Ferry. The selection was not huge but all four of us were able to find something we wanted to try (1 steak lover, 1 something 'spicy' lover, 1 locally sourced lover, and 1 cheese lover) and everyone really enjoyed their choices. And of course, this included attentive service at... More

We are fortunate to live just a block away from this wonderful bistro so we can and do eat there frequently. Chef Kevin is from New Orleans so knows just how to season a variety of dishes with a Creole touch. All entrees are locally sourced and include steaks, seafood, andouille sausage, venison and duck. I always go intending to... More

We love Harpers Ferry!!! Being part of a community and neighbor hood that makes our locals feel as if this is their "place" was one of my goals when we moved here. I made a commitment to bring the best of New Orleans food here and changing the menu will always be part of "expanding" the palette of those we... More

We had dinner at this restaurant during a recent visit to Harper's Ferry for the 4th of July. Loved the décor and atmosphere. It's small and charming in an old home. The food was excellent - I had the Potage and my husband had duck. Both were great choices. Our server was attentive, but not annoying :). The Chef came... More

Thanks for taking the time to review us! Due to multiple requests, we have added a fresh dessert menu, and If you request we will usually make a small house salad to accompany your meal. I know the 7$ salad stings a little but keep in mind, the salad you are paying for was growing out of the ground either... More

The chef and wait staff were amazingly kind and friendly. The food was so good, made fresh. Try the bruschetta! One of the few places in the town open on Monday! Thank God!

LOVE IT!!! Thanks for the comments. We picked to stay open on Monday because my wife and I use to visit "The Ferry" before we moved here and we could never find anything open on Monday! CK More
