We stopped in for a late breakfast and early lunch. We were surprised to find them open after the snowstorm we got the night before and that was continuing through the day! We were greeted by two friendly servers and were immediately served our drink order.
She brought over both breakfast and lunch menus. My husband opted for the Badger breakfast and I went with the chicken shawarma wrap and added on an order of their homemade coleslaw. Everything was absolutely delicious!! Such a sweet, quaint space with excellent food options and service! Definitely not just a burger lunch spot, many creative and wonderful items offered. I was intrigued with their “French ecstasy” but stayed with lunch. Next time I hope to try that!
Will be back!

Great food and pet friendly. The breakfasts are awesome and so flavorful and they even made great eggs for our dog. Dinner’s were amazing and the Long Island beach tea was so delicious, the raspberry jam is made fresh there and should be bottled and sold soooo goood. Very friendly staff don’t pass it by.

This is an informal restaurant which is bright and cheerful. I had the applefritter french toast special and my husband had a skillet breakfast with tossed potatoes. I had to eat some of his potatoes so good and CRISPY! Husband also had this amazing burger with gyro meat on it,when we went for lunch, outstanding!

Sat down at 715 and ordered garlic bread and a 14 inch pizza. Garlic bread arrived after 15 minutes. We watched plates of food and pizza after pizza leave the kitchen. At 825 we were told our pizza would be done in five minutes, at 840 we requested our bill for the garlic bread so we could leave. She gave us the bill which included the pizza we never received. At that point the waitress told us our pizza was “in the window” (we don’t believe it was). Again, we requested our bill so we could leave. She adjusted our bill which we paid and tipped on, not one apology was given. Sorry, but waiting an 1 1/2 hours for a pizza is absurd. The pizza that was being served all around us did look very good though. We thought an apology would have been appropriate but apparently not By the staff or restaurant.

Was a busy place. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and confused. Service was slow. Two of us ordered tacos, of which there were supposed to be 3, we each got two and were told they were running out of items. My thought, give me 3 and tell the next person you’re out, or tell me your out. My wife ordered a French dip sandwich. It looked like uncooked slices of gristle filled meat on a soggy soft bun. Nothing looked cooked and she spent part of the time trying to separate the edible from the not so….and finally gave up. We had high expectations based on the reviews and left utterly disappointed, hungry and knowing we would never return.

We looked forward to getting here at 11:30 for lunch. They apparently have a policy of delaying lunch when breakfast is busy- no lunch til 12:00. Then we found breakfast is no up to previous standards. Hashbrowns came swimming in oil-not edible-still had to pay for them. No longer have granola pancakes, my favorite on the menu. Also, took 25 minutes to get our food. Very noisy enviromnent.

My wife and I ordered takeout from Manypenny and it was honestly one of the worst meals we've ever had. There was barely any fish on the fish sandwich and the fish was also bland. A fast food fish sandwich has more substance to it and for less than half the price what this cost. The only redeeming quality was the tartar sauce which was very good. We also ordered the fried cheesecake and it was runny and appeared to be premade from frozen and heated up. It was inedible. We were extremely disappointed with our experience especially given they were one of the only resturants open for takeout on Monday nights in the area. Would definitely not reccomend.

We came here this past week as most restaurants in the area were closed due to COVID. We saw that they were only doing take out and had an area off to the side that you could sit and eat your takeout food. We decided to have our pizza there. While we were eating I looking at the kitchen and saw that the chef (a man) was not wearing a mask at all while making the other patrons food. The other workers inside with a little girl had no mask on as well. The servers who were manning the front for the orders were wearing their mask but it’s definitely not consistent. I would much rather the chef wear a mask while preparing my food...
Food was good though. Had a pizza and the crust was thin and crispy.

Stopped by during a busy breakfast rush. We noted only a few open tables and were worried about getting in and out in time to make a boat cruise reservation. But we were seated quickly and our server was very prompt, friendly and efficient. Our order was taken and we had our coffee (very good coffee and we are coffee snobs) and juice in a few minutes. One order of Crabby Benny and a Fisherman's Platter. Crabby Benny (crabcake and poached egg on English muffin with hollandaise sauce) was a treat as it is not a common menu item. Poached egg was perfectly cooked and sauce was not overly heavy. Appreciated that we could get a half order for those of us with smaller appetites. Eggs on the Fisherman's Platter were ordered over-medium and were perfectly done which can be a challenge. We were finished within an hour and able to catch our boat on time.

My husband and I ate here twice on our visit to Bayfield. Mondays are apparently extremely busy but we found a spot in the screened porch. Enjoyed a small pizza. Asked for black olives on half but it was more like 3/4. Second night we went was not as busy. Ordered the Fry Bread Tacos. Should have split one order....they were huge! It covered a large plate and was served with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and onions surrounding a puffy fry bread covered with meat. Soooooo good! Try a Berry Moscato, too!

We walked the town after a boat ride and luckily found this spot! Best cauliflower crust pizza 🍕 I ever had, my boyfriend had Whitefish plate , he loved it. The daily drink special was Deep Eddys tea with raspberry lemonade , they used fresh raspberries , yum 😋. Our bartender recommended the nearby apple orchard and Copper Crow distillery as our next stops, We recommend ManyPenny Bistro!

Our sailing guide recommended Manypenny Bistro for pizza-to-go in Bayfield, and it was delicious. There was about an hour’s wait on a Friday night, but we didn’t mind. It was pleasant to walk around the neighborhood, along a small beach, and wander through a park and marina while waiting. And the pizza was definitely worth the wait. My pizza was pepperoni with banana peppers. (Not every pizza place has banana peppers, and I appreciate it when they do.} From what we saw, the bistro was following safe Covid-19 policies, too.

After just rolling into town on a Monday afternoon, we found very few options for dining. Maybe that’s normal or maybe Covid means less options on a Monday. Regardless, we thought this place looked good so we gave it a try. It was a disappointment from start to finish. Upon arrival, we read the “seat yourself” sign but were confused as to whether we would be served by a waitress or if we needed to order at the front desk. There were so many people standing around the desk, and with Covid freaking everyone out so much that we couldn’t get a straight answer, we sat down. After finally getting a waitress, we ordered beers...which took forevvver to arrive. Then we waited at least 45 minutes for our food (chicken bacon wrap & falafel). We would have ordered another round of beers in that time but didn’t see a waitress and figured it would be another long wait. It’s a very busy place, but we can’t recommend it unless they get more / better wait staff.

Visiting from Madison and staying at the Rittenhouse our hostess recommended we stop in for lunch and had the best Tortilla Soup ever. We were seated right away and our server was really pleasant. The extensive menu was very inviting so we returned the next night for dinner and our server recommended the white fish sandwich. Exceptionally light and hit a home run.

Our B&B host recommended Manypenny and we really loved it. It’s open on Monday nights, unlike most places in Bayfield. The food was fresh and delicious. I had whitefish that was perfectly cooked (not from frozen) and great sides. I don’t remember what hubby had, as I was totally focused on my own meal, lol. It was also reasonably priced. We will definitely go back when we’re in the area again.
