First of all, I am biased about the bean barn because I was raised not only in Greeneville but with the owners of the bean barns kids. I remember going to the barn for lunch from high school wondering if I was going to be late to 4th period but also knowing if I was late it was worth it.... More

The beans all the way (with some of their homemade beef broth and a potato) are the BEST! If you are a soup beans fan, don't miss this place!!

If you are in this area and have time (and can find it although easier now with GPS) there is a "hole in the wall" that serves the best "beans all the way" in the U.S. Have the "beans all the way and a Cheese Burger Hobart Style (with a slice of ham and maybe an egg) and some goat's... More

A must see if you're in Greeneville. Charming old country store with half turned into place to eat. Beans and cornbread. Really good burgers. Get a drink out of the old cooler if you like. True southern .

This is a nice local place in Greeneville. The Hobart burger is delicious, with a thin piece of ham in the middle of the burger. The fries weren't bad. The environment reminds me of an old country store.

This is in an old store and seating is very limited. The staff is very friendly. They make a good hamburger steak and the specialty is soup beans and cornbread. They even mix a homemade beef stew in with the beans. I would recommend them. It isn't a place where I would go regularly, but if you want a country... More

Just because it's called the bean barn doesn't mean u have to purchase beans. They have great hamburger and crinkled fries! Can soda out the cold cooler. Seating is limited and hours are odd. Service is well go see for yourself...

This is a little out of the way somewhat understated (shabby) little building but it's worth hunting down. Not a lot of seating which is really basic and not very comfortable but you'll be glad you came. Old fashion cornbread to go with perfect soup beans and beef stew, both well seasoned. We came with friends who come here frequently... More

Fantastic food from hamburgers to beans all the way. Very nice to have lunch in such a quaint little restaurant. It is like going into an old country store.
