We arrived at 6:30 Friday evening. It was a full house but folks were continuously leaving as they were arriving. Service was terrific, bar drinks were well made, and the salad was fresh. My filet mignon and my wife’s steak kabob were awesome; perfectly seared...and cooked the way we wanted. A great visit and worth the stop.More

We decided to try this steakhouse restaurant in Del Rio. It has common ownership with the Ramada Inn in which we were staying. It seemed that we had to drive quite a distance to find the restaurant. In fact, it was located outside of town...near Amistad Reservoir. The facility was quite crowded when we arrived, but we were seated promptly. The waiter was very friendly and courteous. It seemed to take a lot of time for the kitchen to prepare our meals. I believe that my steak should have been warmer.More

3 of us were in Del Rio for Business. Our Lead had gotten there a day earlier and Cripple Creek had come highly recommended. We returned there a couple of times through the 6 days we were in town. They have an extensive menu, but...I loved their Burgers. They're available in Three Sizes - Pony (1/3 pound), Cowgirl (1/2 pound), and Cowboy (1 pound). I had the Cowgirl both evenings, while our Truck Driver had the Cowboy the first night and the Cowgirl the second time. The food was amazing and very filling. The Wait Staff was friendly and courteous, and the manager stopped by to see how things were. Great Food take a bit, so don't be in a hurry.More

Very warm and welcoming place for dinner. The food was not fancy, but very well prepared and served. Gotta be good with steaks in Texas! Comfortable seating and general ambiance feels homey🙂 The obvious choice for locals as well, we noticed.

just now Absolutely terrific! You cannot go wrong with any of the steaks here. We all had different cuts and we're extremely pleased. The armadillo appetizer was also a hit. The service was also terrific, and to top it off the brownie ice cream dessert...they brought to our table to celebrate our two graduating pilots was amazing! If you are in Del Rio you must go to Cripple Creek.More

Friendly and courteous staff. Manager/owner always walks around asking “how’s everything?” Food is excellently prepared and delicious. Prices are moderately are on the high side.

Visiting Del Rio on a business trip. I asked her own about good steak places. Was told by multiple people this is the best place in Del Rio. My steak was cooked to perfection and I did enjoy my meal.

Took three business associates out for dinner and everyone loved the food as well as the personnel. It was a little pricey but very well worth it!
