If you like McDonalds you will like Rudy's. Approximately the same nutritional value but with more "theatrical" surroundings. You may have guessed - we don't like McDonalds. At Rudy's we felt similarly "processed". Food produced in bulk somewhere and then warmed up. Brisket OK but the toasted bread was just picked off a pile of ready cooked bread. It was... More

So affordable! Beef brisket was extremely lean. Cute country atmosphere. Good BBQ sauce...Wimpy version.

Small portions , no fries just chips. Not what I consider good bbq. Meat was tender. We left hungry after a $25 bill and went to McDonald's.

Loved the lunch, sides are just as good as the main course, loved the Green Chile. Had Smoked Turkey, Green Chile, and homemade Cream Corn.

While traveling to Big Bend, we stopped for 2 nights in Del Rio. Having done my due diligence of researching restaurants and reviews, I had pretty much decided if we chose BBQ to visit a different BBQ place. However, while checking in, I asked the clerk for suggestions and she suggested Rudy's. I asked about the other BBQ place and... More

I had a great meal and experience at Rudy's in Del Rio. Food was phenomenal. I really liked everything I had. The staff was great at helping me. I also go to watch the game while I ate. It may not be for everyone as you sit at communal picknik tables and have to clear off your own dishes. But... More

My favorite is a loaded potato with brisket then topped with Sissy sauce. For breakfast I always like the brisket, egg and cheese tacos.

Stopped by Rudy's BBQ to satisfy the little carnivore inside. We ordered half a pound of turkey, lean brisket, baby back ribs and half a jalapeño sausage to satiate our thirst for blood. Also had some potato salad, corncobs, green chili and to close on a high note we enjoyed some pecan pie. By the end of the colossal meal... More

The brisket was very flavorful and tender. They give you a choice of dry(lean portion of the brisket) or moist(fatty section) and two types of sauce. We got ours to go at 8:30 in the evening.

As usual Rudy's was a great place to eat. My staff all enjoyed it. It did not take long to order nor to get our order during lunch rush hour. food was awesome.
