This was our first time at this restaurant. We had not been back to Del Rio in a long time as our business used to bring us here. Since retirement, we have not had the opportunity to return. When we arrived, we had our choice of table as it was late for lunch and too early for supper. The restaurant... More

Been there twice recently. Had to make sure I was right. The place is big and breezy but there is a something that isn't quite right about the place. We were seated in the same table as before. I ordered steak which is the so called house speciality and my partner got the enchiladas verdes. Neither was satisfactory and we... More

I'm sorry but I have to be quite honest... I've eaten at both Manuel's restaurant locations in Del Rio, Texas and Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico and both were simply overpriced and let's say less than impressive or at least somewhat satisfying at minimum. Both times I did not even finish my $25-30 dollar meal and both times I have regretted having... More

Steaks are great, even late. We had the entire staff to ourselves and they seemed happy to have us there

Ordered the parrilladas for two. The food arrived and the waiter dumped a drink into the cheese. He apologized and said he'd bring a new dish of cheese. We waited a while and started eating. It was good, but not earth shattering. Asked the waiter about the cheese, he said the kitchen is backed up (so it is not coming).... More

If you are in Del Rio, Texas stop by Manuel's Steakhouse for good Mexican food. I ordered the parrillada (fajitas, chicken, pork chicarines and ranchero beans) for two and two Micheladas. It did not disappoint. Our waitress Monica provided excellent service. Thank you Monica!

Excellent service, amazing food. If you want good, authentic Mexican food and extra large portions, this is the place to go. Also has great margaritas.

My husband and I both had the rib eye steak and broiled quail combo and we both enjoyed it. Our steaks were beautifully seasoned to bring out the flavor of good beef and cooked spot-on just as we like -- his medium, mine medium rare. The star of the plate however was the wonderfully large, oh so creamy-textured baked potato... More

It is a nice little place, the service is good, the staff friendly & the food is good. The guacamole was fresh, the cheese nachos was good; simple, clean & not a whole lot of stuff dumped onto it. My husband's tacos ( beef & chicken) were very good. All in all a good experience & we would return.

Thank JYPA
