I ordered soup while I was there and was enjoying it until I bit into a rubber band. Not only could I not get the awful rubber taste out of my mouth which completely ruined my appetite, but no one including the manager seemed overly concerned about it. I had only eaten a few bites, yet I wasn't offered my... More

The menudo was bought to the table, was very hot. Never was warned about it. Had to wait a bit to cool. The pieces of meat were cut big and some still full of fat. Both of my children and I like the harmony in menudo. Was hard to find the harmony in the menudo. Didn't even eat half of... More

30 minute wait for the special of the day at noon with only 7 out of possibly 20 tables occupied. Special was fried catfish (from Lake Amistad) that neither my guest nor myself finished. We had to refill our own water glasses. Not a pleasant experience and won't return.

We enjoyed the selection of Mexican food for dinner here. Order at the counter, and find a seat in the large dining room. The prices were good for large plates of food. The Mexican rice and refried beans were great sides. They had a nice selection of Mexican candy to browse.

Everyone in my family, kids and adults, loves Don Marcelino's. From the tacos to the burgers to the margaritas, we've loved everything we have tried. They have good specials, as well.

More Mex and less Tex. This place obviously is influenced by people who learned how to cook in Mexico, and the Tex-Mex is less here than other places. It has bit of authentic Mexican atmosphere, and really first-rate service. Pros: -Good food, with more Mex and less Tex -Friendly service -Tries hard for Mexican atmosphere -Family friendly Cons: -A bit... More

Expected better. Reminded my of a frozen TV dinner. Not a very clean place either. There has to be better Mexican food in Del Rio.

I was brought here while visiting from out of town. The staff were friendly. I had the eggs and chorizo which was okay. Nothing special. I did have to ask for a coffee refill. Bathroom was very clean. A big plus for me. I would try other places in town for a comparison.

The only time I come here is to get breakfast tacos. They are very good. However, the salsa is very watery. Sometimes it feels like you are pouring water on your taco. The service is not really that great.

I drove all the way from San Antonio to Del Rio to see the Seminole Canyon pictograph paintings and we decided to go eat at Del Rio during Cinco de Mayo. We are close to the Border what better place to eat Mexican food... Wrong! You know the saying about assuming! We walked into Don Marcelino's and first thing you... More
