Great dinner. We were five and all the dishes were great! The best dinner this year. Even the 30$ red was good. The deserts were well prepared as well.

Stumbled across this place and I'm glad we stopped. It has a real family feeling to it and has good atmosphere and street appeal. The food was very good. I had the meat-ball house special and the sauce was superb.

We stumbled upon this cute little Italian Restaurant and the first good sign was that it was packed . We grabbed a table for 2 to watch the world go by . We grabbed a 1/2 bottle of cab sav and a lasagne and gnocchi in lamb ragu sauce both of which were 8/10 good .....pipping hot , fresh ingredients... More

Our fries were cold the mussels lukewarm they forgot the pizza we ordered for our son. The lamb shank was good and the cheese pizza too but whole experience mad a it a bad joke. Our neighors here in te restaurant italians were complaining too but they took my mussels and my sons pizza of our bill fair but sad.

Wow, so this is what real Italian food is supposed to taste like?! I ordered the fettuccini gamborini and to my astonishment + not drowning in heavy sauce and cheese. My taste buds were drunk off the authenticity of Italy!

We came here for a late lunch after our Alcatraz tour and were not disappointed. Service was good and the pizzas were delicious.

We spotted this from the top deck of our tour bus and figured that there was a reason there were queues outside. Hidden away from the tourist traps in North Beach, this unassuming Italian restaurant is a real gem. Fast, friendly and attentive service hints at good things to come but the food is absolutely delicious: the fat prawns taste... More

Went to this small restaurant for dinner and was not disappointed. We were a bit late (9pm) so there was no waiting for a table, the waiter Lorenzo was funny, spoke italian and taught us some words and phrases. The food was good and was worth the money, not more not less. The menu was the small and only downside,... More

Staying in Russian Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Russian Hill
Russian Hill has evolved into a chic residential neighborhood with outstanding views from every corner. Combined with several great cafes, restaurants, antique shops and boutiques, it’s easy to see why any visitor would gladly leave their heart in San Francisco. Cars line up day after day to drive down Lombard Street, the “crookedest” street in the world, and make the slow creep downhill past charming period homes. Polk Street is the main drag in this neighborhood, where you will find trendy bars, cafes and shops populated with locals, but for one of the most charming rides in the city, grab a cable car heading up and down Hyde Street.
